  • Outstanding!

"This was an amazing VRBO. 1/2 mile from the beach, 1/2 mile from the shops and restaurants. Bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, all included! Very nice kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room, and bedroom. Washer and dryer! We will definitely seek out this property if we make it back to Kailua again!!"

  • Great quiet Kailua location - close to beach, highway access, and town!

"Judy's place had everything on our checklist. Plenty of space for two teenage boys to get away from their annoying parents and at the same time great family areas for us to have meals together and talk. The washer/dryer allowed us to pack light and Judy seems to have most of everything you might forget to bring like sunscreen and shampoo. The boogie boards are well-worn but work fine and it is nice to not have to buy beach chairs. We often used the BBQ (again, well-worn but works fine) and the very large backyard during our stay. The kitchen is fully furnished. The windows let in lots of sunlight, but if you prefer it you can draw the blinds and turn on the A/C; it stays nice and cool. The house is one block away from one of the main public beach accesses for that end of Kailua beach and a couple blocks away from highway access and Safeway. Very comfortable beds, very clean, and a sweet and wonderful owner."

  • Kailua Shangri La

"We so enjoyed our 3 weeks at this special cottage, close to beach access - less than 5min walk to beach. The cottage was a perfect size for us (2), great outdoor space to enjoy a BBQ meal and patio space. The cottage itself was cleaner than anything we've stayed in past and the owners are so considerate and helpful. A must stay if you like private hideaway that's comfortable, and close to Kailua Beach."

  • Thanksgiving in Paradise

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second visit to the Walker's Lanikai Beach House. The house has been partially renovated since our last visit. We honestly never expected that such a wonderful home and location could get better than our first visit, but it did!! The home itself is sitting on a relatively remote beach location that is not visited by that many tourists. Waking up to our own "private beach" to watch the sunrise between the two mini islands was one of my favorite parts of our trip. We also enjoyed a full Thanksgiving dinner. The only thing that was not included in the well stocked kitchen was a meat thermometer. That was pretty incredible. Overall if you have a large crowd/family this home provides several separate structures so that there is privacy along with the perfect home for everyone to gather. Looking forward to returning for another family getaway."
