  • Wow! Our first impression of the property was breathtaking, our living experience excellent!

"Fresh linens, sundries and a welcome basket of goodies awaited us on our arrival. One of the owner's property managers Lianne gave us a thorough run through of the property and amenities. This coupled with an invaluable " notebook" of house info with insider secrets to Kailua made our stay an easy transition. The well stocked kitchen (including a spice drawer) made our meals easy to prepare. The neighborhood is peaceful with families of all ages. I can't say enough about the kindness and consideration of our hosts. Our vacation had to be extended unexpectedly for a few days and Richard was gracious and as accomadtng as anyone could hope for. All in all our experience was amazing, I'm actually hesitant to write too good of a review because I am afraid Kaimalino Kai won't be available for our next visit. To Richard, Lianne and Ramon a heartfelt Thanks for your kindness!"

  • Wonderful stay!

"The rental unit was very clean, well maintained and was in a great neighborhood. The view from the balcony was a nice place to start and end the day. Terri was a perfect host, welcoming us, showing us the unit amenities and providing local information. She made herself available, but provided us with privacy. The unit was comfortable and spacious for two couples. Our only regret is that we only stayed three days!"

  • A most enjoyable time in a house located in a wonderful neighborhood with easy beach access.

"We stayed for a month and had a very pleasant experience. Dianne, the caretaker, who lived next door, was most helpful and was there if we needed her but she also ensured our privacy during the entire time of our stay. She was a wonderful asset and most knowledgeable about restaurants and the area in general. The house is older and due to the recent news articles about Lanikai Beach being one of the top beaches in the world, there was a fair amount of traffic. The house was certainly large enough to accommodate our family of four but one very important suggestion is to install curtains on the front windows for both privacy and to help deaden the sound from the traffic. There was also an ample supply of towels, cooking utensils and a large refrigerator. There were also beach toys including beach chairs, boogie boards and toys for the sand, as used by our grandchildren. The beach was a short five minute walk away. As for places to eat, Boots and Kimos for breakfast....bring cash as they do not accept credit cards, travelers checks, or personal checks.....; for dinner, Haleiwa Joes in Kaneohe has the largest and best tasting prime rib you will ever eat along with fantastic scenery; and for lunch, Teddys Bigger Burgers in downtown Kailua. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!"

  • Perfect spot

"Stayed at Coconut Corner for 10 days for vacation during the 4th of July weekend. The house had everything we needed and in close proximity to the beach. The cottage was in great condition and even had full use of beach gear in his garage. Thank you for welcoming us to your home, and Maggie too! Definitely will stay again in the future."
