  • Wonderful time!

"I took my three teenagers to Hawaii for Spring break and this was the perfect beach retreat for part of our stay. Great amenities available like boogie boards, masks, snorkels and beach towels. We were even greeted one morning by a loud squawking wild red Macaw. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. I would definitely return. It was private and quiet and convenient to all of Kailua's amenities."

  • Another great vacation at Kailua Beach in Plumeria Cottage!

"My husband and I spent our sixth winter visit at Plumeria Cottage. Well furnished and maintained. It can accommodate six persons with three bedrooms and two baths. Great TV system including Netflix. Kailua Beach is a five minute walk away. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii. Wonderful deck for activities and meals. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and BBQ grill outside. Kailua town has great variety of stores and restaurants including a Whole Foods. Manager responsive to our needs. We are already booked for our next visit to Plumeria Cottage."

  • Large fun property

"This house was large enough for our large extended family, and the floor plan gave us ample privacy. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped for cooking any meal. The master bedroom and living areas did not have AC which made it a bit uncomfortable for those of us that couldn't acclimate to the humidity. There were fans and lots of Windows in those rooms. The pool is old and in need of repair, but it didn't stop us from having many hours of fun in it. I believe they are scheduled to upgrade it this year. The parking was difficult for us since we had 4 cars. It took some tricky maneuvering to get in and out of the parking lot. If you have just a couple of cars it would be no big deal at all but for our large family it was difficult. I believe they may be considering a change to make the parking area a little easier for multiple vehicles, as the fence and a beautiful tree make some obstacles. It is a central location in Kailua. Close to downtown and the beautiful beach. Our over all experience was good and we would recommend it to other families."

  • Amazing place right near everything!

"This place was unreal! We loved the layout with the bed looking out the windows, and the kitchen was so handy. Everything is so clean and has a fresh feel to it, and the patio has some great views and is a nice area to chill out. The only problem you'll have is you won't want to leave the room! When you do though it's just a short walk to the beaches (including Lanikai beach) and a short drive to other attractions like Hanauma Bay. If you're cooking we recommend checking out the whole foods market in Kailua - a 5 min drive - incredible choice of food! There's a good selection of shops here too. Thanks so much for having us - we would've loved to stay longer, you have a really nice place in a great little neighborhood."
