  • Ideal place to stay in Oahu

"Amazing beach just in a few steps from your door. Nice Hawaiian style studio. You'll have everything you need to relax and enjoy the spirit of the island. Thanks Joanie for sharing this place"

  • Fabulous in every way

"We had three generations in the house for a week. The house was spacious & clean, the kitchen was fabulously stocked. My brother-in-law the gourmet of the family loved it. Everyone had their own space. The pool was nice to dip in after a day at the beach. The owners thought of everything, from a wagon to carry your cooler and chairs to the beach, to a high chair and pack and play available for use with small children. It was a 30-45 minute drive to most major attractions (Pearl Harbor, Cultural Center, Sea Life Park, etc.) A nice surprise was how close we were to the Lanikai Pill Box trail, which took you up the ridge for some fabulous views. My only regret was that we stayed only one week. When we come back, it will be for longer for sure."

  • Excellent!

"We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful unit. It was clean and spacious with views from all sides + two decks, big kitchen, etc., etc. Most importantly, the Owner who lives downstairs was wonderful! She helped with anything we needed and has bikes and gear for borrowing or rental. It is a great package and best experience we have had. A great place at a great value!"

  • Great house, amazing location

"We stayed here three nights with a large family group - 2 families of four, plus three grandparents. We used all five bedrooms, and had plenty of space. The AC in each room was so amazing during the August heat - kept us cool and the rooms were quiet - everyone slept well. All beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean. We used the kitchen for breakfast each day. It was so hot in the evening that we really didn't want to cook in the kitchen, but were happy to sit at the large table and eat food we had picked up. The location is great. It's a very quick walk to the beach. Do not even try to park at the beach, even if you find a spot, you will walk farther than from the house! The store right next to the house has great food - we ate dinner and lunch there. They have salads, burgers, wraps, pizza, etc. They also serve coffee and breakfast. Anna provides beach chairs, mats, boogie boards, and snorkel gear. There was a styrofoam cooler in the kitchen, which we took to the beach. The coded gate made us feel very secure. It was an easy drive to Pearl Harbor from the house, so don't think you are "too far" by staying in Kailua. Several grocery stores nearby allow you to pick up anything you need!"
