  • Convenient, comfortable, and relaxing

"Dolphin manor sits in the perfect location. My family and I stayed in this home for 5 days and never used our car. We were very pleased that the best beaches were right across the street and many shops and restaurants were accessible by foot. The house has many conveniences like strollers, bikes, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, and towels. The pool was situated in a very private manner that allowed my family to relax after a "hard" day at the beach. We're definitely coming back. It was a great experience."

  • Such a wonderful and special place!

"This is a beautiful home with amazing views of Lanikai Beach. My wife and I stayed with my parents and brother plus his fiancé for the week and it was perfect. The house had plenty of room, was well furnished and had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation (make sure you take the kayak out to the Mokulua Islands). This is a dream home. Can't wait to return again soon!"

  • Great Visit!

"We loved our stay at this beautiful home in lush and quiet Lanikai. The house was immaculate, just as pictured here, and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. This was a great place for our toddler, who loved the bathtub and rubber duckies and the delightful picture books at the house. The owner even had a souvenir gift for him on parting. Dreamy (and toddler-friendly) Lanikai beach is only a half a mile walk down the hill, and the pillboxes of the Ka'iwa Ridge hiking trail are visible from the driveway (a great place to watch the sunrise). Kailua beach and town are a quick drive away (or bicycle). We appreciated the beach chairs, mats, toys, and towels provided at the house, and we did lots of cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, we were there during some record-breaking heat and humidity and the house has no air conditioning (which is common for the area). We adjusted fine, but just a heads-up to anyone sensitive to such things who might be traveling during the very hot season."

  • Exceptional location, property and owners

"Our family of 5 spent the entire month of July 2016 in Lanikai and had my 2 sister-in-laws there with us for 2 weeks. The owners Reenie and Barney literally became like family to us. The property was very clean and comfortable and just as described. Actually the photos don't do it justice. The location is outstanding. My husband and I had lived in Hawaii in Lanikai 20+ years ago so we knew that this was the area we wanted to stay in on the island. This area of the windward side is great. The beaches are family-oriented and the neighborhood is quiet. There are plenty of great places to eat and shop right in Kailua. The swimming and snorkeling at Lanikai is the best. The owners have everything you need to enjoy your trip. There are beach chairs, floats, boogie and surf boards, and more. There are all kinds of kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, private parking so you never worry about finding a spot on the street and you are just steps from the beach. The covered porch is where we spent a lot of our time in the mornings and evenings. There are many listings in Lanikai that talk about great views and just steps from the beach. Trust me from someone who has lived here and visited here recently, this is the best location. Even though other listings may show great views and photos if you walk to the beach from those properties you will have to climb back up a steep hill or climb stairs. We never even put on our shoes to go to the beach since all we had to do was cross the street and we were on the beach access path with sand. Also there are listing that are not close to the sandy part of Lanikai's beach, this property is right in the middle of the sandy part of Lanikai's beach. We are already talking about when can we get back to Lanikai and this is the place we want to stay."
