  • Paradise!

"Trust me, when you're sitting out on the patio in the morning with fresh coffee and that turquoise ocean view, you'll know you've made the right decision. Our family has been to many top-rated places and this one for sure will be on top of our favorite list....can't wait to go back. Gina was extremely sweet and helpful. Thank you for making it happen. :)"

  • Great location+room+price

"The house is very easy to find as it is located on a main street and had parking right out front. Like the other reviews mention, the side door entrance has a tight walkway due to the washer + dryer and some plumbing, but realistically, it will only be an inconvenience on arrival and departure when squeezing all suitcases through. I was grateful to be able to do laundry and come back home with no pile of dirty laundry to worry about!!! There is a spacious closet filled with hangers, an iron, beach towels, and other things for the beach. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare breakfast before heading out for the day. There is a wall AC, fan tower, and ceiling fan that cooled the room down within minutes. Since the house does face a somewhat busy street, we closed all the windows that faced that way on the first day and between that and the AC+ fans, the noise never bothered us. We noticed that you can also hear the children that live in the house through the studio’s bathroom window. We only heard them while getting ready in the bathroom and could not hear them through the rest of the studio. I didn’t mind it at all and thought the kid’s conversations were funny/cute. Overall, this room had MORE than what was necessary for our stay and was conveniently located on my favorite side of the island with only a 5 min drive to my favorite beach."

  • Bali Hale is a home that perfectly fits into Paradise.

"Bali Hale not only met our expectations it exceeded them from every aspect. It was impeccably clean and well maintained. The photos really do not do justice to that pure charm of the home. It is truly one of a kind. The house contained everything that one could ask for in a rental home and the location is wonderful. You are far enough away from Waikiki Beach to avoid the crowds but it is only about a 25 minute drive to get there to enjoy the amenities offered downtown. Gerri, the care taker, was wonderful. Our flight landed at 4:25 PM and when we called her she said take your time getting to the house we will wait for you which took pressure off of as we had not been to that part of the Island on previous trips. Once we arrived at the house she spent a great deal of time making sure that we were familiar with the house as well as sharing some of her favorite things to do in the area including where to eat and buy groceries. Thanks Gerri and Bill you got us of to a great start! You cannot help but relax a while at Bali Hale. The setting is peaceful and the back yard is large and private. One of the great features of the house is the outdoor shower. Everything that you will need for your vacation is within a short driving distance, Gerri will give you the low down. We thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails on the porch. We also highly recommend the Lanikai General Store for lunch, breakfast and some of your supplies. The food is outstanding and the people that work there are very pleasant. It is about a 10 minute drive and it is 2 minutes from one of the nicest beaches on Oahu. Needless to say we will be back in the not too distant future!"

  • clean, cozy, and welcoming!

"After stressing so much trying to find the right place to stay for the holidays because I wanted to find a place that was good for my two kids and also my husband with his parents I finally got to relax- thanks to this vacation rental. The unit itself is designed as a plantation style home. Steps to Lanikai Beach made it easy to wake up and go for a morning swim and then be back at the unit to make and host a nice breakfast for the family. I was amazed to see how much was offered in the kitchen to make it feel as if it were your own home. Also, the amenities are what really striked me about this home! kayaks and surfboards and so much more, the kids loved it! but my wallet loved it more. Other tourist we saw when we paddled out to the mokuluas rented boats for $100 for the day! ouch! Lori who is the owner opened up all of her toys for my family and I to use included with just a 2 week stay whenever we wanted. I usually do not write reviews on websites but after this trip I just felt is necessary to share with you all. The price is right, the home is great, and the genuine services Lori provided for my family are unforgettable. We will be back next year! no stress looking for a place this time because we already know where we will be returning."
