  • Wonderful Kailua Rental

"This was the perfect place for our families. My son was married on the Secret Island near Kualoa Ranch and this worked out very well for my 2 brothers, their wives, my sister, our friends who married my son & his wife and my husband & I. We had stayed in Kailua 2 years ago so we were familiar with the area and decided to return. We rented all 3 units and it was very comfortable for everyone. We especially appreciated the AC in the bedrooms! We enjoyed the pool & hot tub and just sitting on the lanai and enjoying the beautiful weather. Each unit had its own charm and was well equipped. The microwave in our unit did not work and was replaced immediately by the owner. Steve, Susie & Zak were so pleasant to work with and very informative. We took their advice and made the 15 minute walk to Lanikai Beach. So beautiful!! We had dinner at Buzz's Bar & Steakhouse and were not disappointed; the meal and service was excellent. Lots of shops and markets close by and Kailua Beach just across the street and through the park. We will certainly consider the Villas when we return to Hawaii. Thank you!"

  • Perfect stay

"The king sized bed in the upper back studio is one of the most comfortable I've experienced. Each night, I could hear the ocean as I drifted off to sleep. This place has a 70s beach house vibe because that's exactly what it is but it's in great condition and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Host Mary is friendly and extremely efficient and all my dealings with her before, during and after my stay were a breeze. Lanikai is a divine destination-the antithesis of noisy and crowded Waikiki. It was a great choice and I hope to return one day."

  • Loved our time at this place!

"I recently rented this place over New Years week. I had never been to Hawaii and didn't know how awesome the Lanikai beaches are. Our family stayed here including 3 adults and 3 kids ranging from 1-70 years old. This was the perfect size for our group. Place: This is actually 3 places, the caretaker, Patrick, lives downstairs and was very accommodating. He let our children play in the grass area which was part of his space. He was very responsive when we asked to borrow additional kitchen items. There is another place also downstairs that has a completely separate entrance and we never saw or heard the people staying there. The interior is all one level. The master looks out with a nice ocean view and is right off the living space. I wasn't sure what to expect since the pictures show what looks like a stairs but these are locked off. We are really glad it was one level given we had a baby. They left us a high chair, pack n' play, and some beach chairs/umbrellas which was really helpful. Location: Lanikai is great for walking. The beach was about a 10 minute walk (with a stroller and 2 young children). It is also great for exercise walks and hiking pill box, which has excellent views. The only downside was that because it was a super busy week there was massive traffic issues so bad that we couldn't get out of Lanikai on two nights. My husband talk to a cop in line to get out and estimated between 2-3 hours to get to the main road from the loop. We canceled our plans and grilled out instead. It ended up working out fine but had we had plans that we couldn't move it would have been a real bummer. I would definitely come back here and rent again. Owners were great and the people were very nice everywhere we went. Mahalo for sharing your home with us!"

  • Loved our stay at this property in Lanikai.

"We were a group of 2 families with 7 kids aged 8-14. There was plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of space for lounging around or cooking a fun breakfast. The views were amazing, bit windy at this time of year, but the pool and jacuzzi were well used. David couldn't do enough for us and we felt very welcome and at home. The only half star I would take off (as otherwise 4.5) was for the age of some of the bedroom/bathrooms, but for us it was not an issue as location was perfect for walking to the beach where the local turtles delighted the kids (3 houses away easy access, or straight off the front wall for teenagers) and for walking to dinner at Buzz's steakhouse. For great coffee drive into Kailua to Morning Brew (thanks for the recommendation Dave it was perfect). Also loads of towels and beach gear was there, very helpful for travellers. We would love to go back."
