  • Beautiful, tranquil and private. This is a piece of heaven.

"The frist morning waking up in this beautiful home was a dream come true for my husband and I. Frist thought I had was I have stepped right into the pictures I have been looking at for months. No false news here! Lol! Robert and Gudrun are wonderful and considerate host family. It truly was our home among friends for 2 blessed weeks. The hot tub was absolutely perfect after long days of soaking in all Oahu has to offer. Lanikai and Kialua are both beautiful beaches and areas to call home base, so cozy and inviting. The Aloha way is lived out here. Beach is just mins walking. We did rent a car for all day trips elsewhere. Bike rentals are available. This was our first Home Away experience and it will be hard to beat and will always hold a special spot in our hearts!❤🌴󝀼󞬺 Mahalo Robert and Gudrun!! Aloha, til next time!"

  • Beautiful Luxury rental!

"Cannot say enough about this property . . . . Location - right on the water, crystal clear, calm, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, SUP. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) were in the water all day everyday. Loved how private the area was. Wonderful neighborhood. Loved the Pillbox Hike in the morning directly behind the home for the sunrise. Beautiful public beach just a mile up the road - this was by far our favorite beach after exploring many around the whole island. Loved the nearby independent restaurants. Very easy to have groceries delivered prior to stay - Thank you for helping Corey!! Property manager Corey was absolutely fantastic - very attentive, prompt, professional, and friendly. The home - spacious, all amenities you could possibly need, very clean, nice linens, fantastic to cook in (we made many meals at home). Kitchen seating provided ample gathering space. Only one downside, which was minor, is that at the end of a long day when my family of 5 wanted to watch a movie together, the living space provided enough upright seating for everyone (on a couch that seats 3 and a love seat that seats 2), but it was definitely not a "loungy" area. Seriously minor though, as we spend most of our time out exploring. We would definitely rent this home again. Myra was wonderful to deal with as well!! Thank you so much! Aloha and Mahalo!"

  • Perfect for our Family Reunion

"Leah's amazing beach front home looking directly out onto the iconic Mokulua Islands was perfect for our family reunion, with us travelling from both the US Mainland and Australia. The location is perfect- it is possible to launch the kayaks or yourself for swimming from the bottom of the garden-or walk 2 minutes up the road for easy sand access to the water. Sitting on the seats on the water's edge was idyllic at any time of day but particularly so at sunrise and sunset or when the moon is full. It is incredibly well equipped and the 3 bedrooms with their own bathroom and ample living space both inside and out meant that people could be together or have private time on their own. The vintage bathrooms are quirky and wonderful. Lanikai is a wonderful spot and Kailua up the road provides great shopping, eating and drinking opportunities , coffee included. It even has a real traditional bowling alley. The Whole Food Store is amazingly good. Leah is a most friendly, welcoming and accommodating host. This traditional Hawaiian house provides a very special and quite unique experience."

  • Great location and a beautiful beach

"My husband and I made a last minute trip to Oahu and got lucky that Lanikai Palms was available. We really enjoy being close to Lanikai and Kailua. The house is stocked with everything you need from the new BBQ grill to beach chairs. We hit some rainy weather but still had a great time exploring the area and coming back to a comfy place. Lori has lots of good information about Lanikai and the surrounding area."
