  • Great little place to stay near the beach!

"This was a perfect place for my daughter and I to stay while I was dropping her off for college. Very clean and updated, and the air conditioning made sleeping very comfortable in late August. The studio has a nice inflatable mattress for a third person. The location in Kailua is very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Kailua is a great little beach town far from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The owner was friendly, and allowed us a late checkout, which was extremely helpful. We will definitely stay there again!"

  • Awesomeness

"This studio was exactly as it was listed on the site. My fiance and I moved to California 4 years ago but went back home to plan our wedding. We could have stayed with family but wanted our own privacy and we got just that. It was super cozy and the owners were awesome. The unit came with all kitchen utensils. The storage in the garage also came loaded with all beach supplies you need. All in all we really really enjoyed this property and would definitely stay there again. The only hassle was looking for parking but we figured it out and made it work."

  • A breathtaking Hawaii get-away!

"We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views from the ocean front unit & in particular the sounds of the ocean throughout the night. We liked the private entrance as not to disturb the owners. Having an assigned parking spot was greatly appreciated. The kitchenette was well equipped for our needs and the owners allowed use of an igloo cooler during our stay. We briefly entertained our son & daughter and their significant others one night without issue. The locations they were staying at did not allow guests. We will definitely return to this unit! Thank you for your hospitality! Kathy & Dennis"

  • Very nice home, very comfortable

"I was quite nervous prior to getting there since this was our first VRBO stay, ever. Still, Kiana had made the effort and had sent out a couple of communications a few weeks prior to our arrival and also a couple days before, asking us when our flight would be arriving, etc. I was also worried that house would be close to a highway and about noise, etc. All these fears were unfounded; Kiana made sure she was there when we were arriving and showed us the house which was bigger than I expected and extremely tidy and comfortable. Super clean, had all the advertised amenities. Even the small balcony was understated in the property description; it is big enough to sit whenever you want to, especially in the morning to drink your coffee and look at the mountain shrouded in fog. Absolutely no noise despite the proximity to highway 61. The neighborhood is super quiet, at night there is a constant breeze coming from the ocean; we slept with the windows open and never felt we had to use the air conditioning despite being there in August, arguably the hottest and most humid month for Hawaii. Kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms had plenty of very clean towels. It was like our own home. Kiana provided all sorts of beach items such as boogie boards, goggle, beach chairs, a beach umbrella. Nothing was missing. The Kailua beach is a short 7-10 minute ride by car. You can also walk into town, if you want to and if you do not mind a 20-minute walk. Plenty of small restaurants to dine in, a Whole Foods is nearby but beware it is 2x as expensive as Whole Foods in the mainland. Overall, a nice house to stay, quiet area and a great base to use for your daily excursions to wherever you go. I will definitely look for Kiana's house if we come back to Oah'u."
