"I personally didn't get to see or talk to the owners much while we were there, but the house was perfect for what we needed! We were there getting married on Kalama Beach, which was just a short walk from the house. The town of Kailua had grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc and even a Target store, all within a 2 minute drive of the house. The house reminded me of a cottage, but it was perfect for our family of 4. There was even enough space for someone to come and do my hair and makeup the morning of the wedding. The kitchen was stocked with general necessities, and the bbq outside was a nice feature. We were able to go to FoodLand to purchase the makings to prepare a portion of our meals at the house, instead of having to eat out for every meal for the week. There were shampoos, conditioners, body wash and other toiletries available for use, as well as plenty of towels, wash cloths, and linens. There was even a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board available to use, which was helpful! If we ever make it back to Oahu again, I will definitely try to stay at this location again. My only complaint was that when we arrived there, some glass had been broken in the kitchen, and only partially cleaned up. We kept finding little shards of glass with our feet (due to the no shoes in the house rule) and it wasn't until a couple of days after we arrived that we found the broom and dust pan to finish cleaning up the glass ourselves. All in all, the trip was amazing, the house is perfect, and has the most ideal location on the island, in my opinion. Thank you again, Sue and Ron, for allowing us to stay in your home, and for allowing us to mail packages to your home prior to our arrival and for holding them for us until we arrived. I highly recommend this house to anyone coming to the island, especially if you are traveling with children."
