  • One of the best vacations ever!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was arranged by my daughter and son-in-law for celebration of my 60th birthday. House was very spacious including bedrooms, living room, and kitchen, etc. It was pleasantly decorated with nicely bloomed orchids every room. Kitchen had all the gadgets and appliances that needed. But best of all is the view from living room and master bedroom. I wish I could've stayed for a month. :-)"

  • Fantastic Stay

"I can't express enough how great it was to rent a house on the other side of the island, away from the craziness of Waikiki!! The house had keyless entry, so we never had to worry about losing a key. Mark, the owner, and his family lives right below, so if you ever need anything, they are just footsteps away. We wish we could have had more time to make use of all the gear that was included. We rented a car as well, which I would highly recommend. It was great having freedom to come and go as we please. When we finally had to leave, our flight didn't depart till 11pm. We called Mark a couple days before and asked if we could extend our check-out time a couple hours, if no one was checking in that night. He said, "Absolutely, stay as long as you need!" It was perfect. The only couple downfalls we noticed were the showerhead and the toilet (and the chickens/roosters). The water pressure was great, just sprayed all over the bathroom. The toilet was a little difficult to flush, but worked just fine. I'm glad I sleep with ear plugs, because the roosters will wake you up early, and won't stop, but I'm being nit-picky. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. There was only 4 of us, but you could definitely have a couple more. The beach is a short walk down the street from the property, maybe 3-4 blocks. The sand was fantastic! The house was pretty easy to find. The guidebook about the property and things to do was great! I would recommend contacting Mark prior to booking any extras, such as luau's and scuba. He knows knows a lot of people and will be able to hook you up. If we ever get the opportunity to go back to Oahu, we will definitely look at stay here first."

  • Comfortable, cosy and well-equipped accommodation located in breathtaking place! Stay for 5-stars

"As for me, the Waimanalo beach is the best place on Oahu - quiet and secluded, gorgeous and charming. There are a few people (in contrast to other beaches) and you feel at one with nature and the ocean. The accommodation exceeded our expectations: clean, comfortable and incredibly cosy, we felt like home there. It has well-equipped kitchen so we don't need eat outside. The Shima's Supermarket is about 5 min drive. We stayed for two weeks and twice we have come the nice maid to clean and change linen. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect, waiting impatiently for coming back!"

  • An outstanding beachfront property!

"Our party of 7 was very comfortable in this house. The house was fresh and clean with all the amenities we needed; both the house and the property were well-maintained. Laycie and Mike were delightful hosts and made our stay that much more pleasant. Our children and grandchildren enjoyed sailing with Mike, who magically produced a whale sighting for them. They were in the water in front of the house every day - snorkeling, exploring the reef, sighting sea turtles, etc. Lots of snorkeling gear and boogie boards provided. The tree house and hot tub were also popular. The location is close enough to Honolulu and Kailua for convenient access but far enough away to feel almost rural. Very peaceful at night. Only a few minutes to the outstanding nature preserve at Hanauma Bay, a short drive to the great beach at Kailua Bay, or 30 minutes to Waikiki. A lovely place, in every sense. We would certainly recommend this property to family and friends."
