  • Love Pat's at Punaluu

"Thank you Betty! We had a great time and loved staying in your beautiful condo. Everything we needed was there. The condo is clean and well stocked. It was humid while we were there and Betty brought us a new, powerful fan that kept us very comfortable. She responded to questions quickly and took care of everything we needed. This is our second stay in this complex and we plan to stay again when we go to Oahu. We have 2 kids and they love ocean here. It is always quiet and the reef makes for a nice and easy swim with no waves. I would definitely stay again!!!"

  • Absolutely Awesome, Beautiful & Amazing stay...

"I have to agree with all of the other reviews, there is not a single thing I can say negative about this property. "WOW" Just doesn't cut it... This was our 1st Hawaiian holiday and we loved it, it has blown away all of our expectations. My wife & I traveling with our 18yr son, 19yr daughter and my mother. We travelled from Australia to NYC to experience the "City that doesn't sleep". Then to Hawaii, heading straight to the North Shore to chill out and experience the real Hawaii... Choosing to stay at this beautiful little beach house was a great decision! Well maintained, clean & tidy snuggled away right on Pipeline and I mean "Right on Pipeline"... 1st impressions last and we were definitely impressed... Everything that you could need is supplied, the Beach House it's self has a perfect homely feel.We just put own bags inside and instantly felt at home! Being a Beach going & Surfing family this place was just perfect, mitres away from the waters edge. We were lucky enough to arrive with pipeline pumping at 18/22 foot and Waimea Bay, huge at around 40 foot.. What a spectacle... The Beach house is right in the middle of the action, but you wouldn't know it. It is very private and you feel like you are in your own little Hawaiian paradise. It is easy to head out sightseeing in any direction, driving, walking or our favourite going for a ride on the cool cruiser push bikes that are provided. The close by food trucks are a must, the food is amazing!!! The owners of the property ( Peter & Dianne) leave you to your own, only giving us a quick courtesy phone call to ensure we were happy and everything was to our expectations. There is a lovely neighbour that pops by every afternoon to feed the cats that also call the Beach House home. No matter what I say in this review, it honestly would not express how much of a fantastic spot this was. I would recommend the Beach House to anyone and can guarantee that we will be back as soon as possible. So I hope I haven't given too much of a glowing review!!! As I don't want to miss out next time we try and book this amazing Beach House...HAHAHA, just joking... To finish off, a Huge "Aloha" and "Mahalo" - Thank You, to Peter & Dianne for giving us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful Beach house and to experience the real Hawaii... We can't wait to be sitting on the back deck again real soon.. Mahalo, Mal & Susan Sipple Brisbane. Australia"

  • Nice large house close to the beach

"Large Indonesian-style house. We got slightly lost trying to find it due to the address not being on our printed-out material when we had no internet and had foreign phones with expensive data.We then had a bit of trouble with opening the key-safe but got in OK in the end. Large spacious house with high rafters (some of the high bolts looked pretty loose!). The low wall partitions between the rooms meant that every small noise (think bathrooms and bedrooms) could be heard throughout the house. No air-conditioning made the house very hot in the late afternoon and the roosters started at about 4.00am (a bit later when it was raining). Other than that, the house was comfortable and fairly well supplied (a vacuum cleaner for the glass my daughter broke may have prevented 3 of us getting tiny glass fragments in our feet. There may have been one but we couldn't find it.) Took a couple of days to find the kitchen sink plug and detergent (they were outside!) and there was no dish brush or pot scourer. The kitchen area was spacious and well equipped with crockery and glassware. It was a pity that a kitchen that size didn't have a dishwasher. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well presented, clean and well made up. There was some snorkelling gear, beach umbrella and chairs and boogie boards there for use (which we availed ourselves of). The local beaches were great... Three Tables Beach very handy, Shark's Cove about 500m north had good snorkelling with lots of fish( as in fact did Three Tables) and Waimea Bay had beautiful sand and clear water (and rock jumping for some). The Foodland Pupukea shop was also handy for getting groceries. We had a really good stay and while some things were unable to be resolved (the roosters), an airconditioner and dishwasher would certainly have helped. Overall we still give it 4 stars as it was a great base."
