  • Breathtakingly beautiful

"This house is an absolute gem. My favorite part about it was the view in the backyard. We let our kids stay in the bedroom while my husband and I slept on the futon in the living room...because the view and the breeze were THAT good! We would wake up to the birds singing and the sight of the misty mountain tops of Kualoa. It was unbelievable! LaRona is very sweet, prompt to answer any questions, and she is very easy to work with! She accommodated all of our needs during our week's stay and she checked on us to see if there was anything we needed! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and glasses, etc. The fridge has lots of space. There is no air conditioning, which made me worried at first, but the wind circulated through the windows very well and we slept comfortably every night! The futon was comfortable, as were all of the other beds. There is a spacious washer and dryer. The lot is very private! There are neighbors but everyone was quiet, so we respectfully were quiet as well. There is a beach just feet from the end of the driveway! The road is a little busy so we didn't venture there with our young children much, but it was beautiful! I can't wait to vacation here again in the future. I do not have a single negative thing to say about this property or the customer service of LaRona or the location or ANYTHING! I couldn't have imagined a more amazing place to stay and I am so thankful for the owners who allowed us to share their piece of heaven. Thank you!"

  • Amazing beachfront stay!

"This home was exactly as advertised. Literally waking up to the waves lapping at the beach, and the sunrise each morning! Ate dinner on the covered lanai almost every night, and even had a "Honu" visit out in the water one evening! The home is very clean, well-maintained, with privacy and lots of amenities. It was truly a "home away from home" for our vacation. Having a kitchen with ample plates, pans, utensils, etc., as well as a full washer and dryer was so great! The gated entry helped you feel more secluded, but the park next door does fill up with campers during the weekends...something to keep in mind. We were in and out, touring the island, but felt right at home once we were there. Spent a lot of time outside reading, looking out at and listening to the ocean, and relaxing. A great place to get away from the hustle of Waikiki and Honolulu, but still able to travel to all the key tourist spots on the island. Rained quite a bit during our trip, but a quick drive to another areas on the island and we were in sun. Almost constant temperatures (82 by day 75 by night), and Karin was quick to respond to questions, provide info, and the rental, check-in and stay were all smooth. Highly recommend this home for your vacation!"

  • Wonderful stay

"We rented this property for a family friend who is a senior and single. It was a good choice, as the property is tucked away in a private corner on the first floor. The unit has a well equipped kitchen and is perfect for a couple or a single person. Very quiet"

  • Not the Ritz but who needs that when your in Hawaii

"Cute and comfortable but what makes it OH SO SPECIAL is the view. If you are torn between a fancier place that's not directly on the water and this one, choose this. It makes all the difference in the world. We sat on the deck every morning and watched the sunrise and fed the silly Myna birds and wood peckers (they like danish best). Very quiet, really cant hear the traffic from the road from the deck or inside just the waves. Could use a little sprucing up, the reason I gave it a four instead of a five, but that certainly won't affect the quality of your stay. Bed was decent. Great for the price. Arish, the manager, is very sweet and accommodating. Arish left ya a bottle of wine, an old lady can only drink so much even on vaca, hope ya didn't give that away."
