  • Our favorite ocean condo.

"This was our second stay at Jerry's condo unit and can't say enough how much we enjoy our trips. Our son & his family live nearby in Waialua and we try to visit each year. Jerry is always helpful when making our plans and we've spoke together on phone many times making final arrangements. Deb is there waiting for our arrival each trip and ready to help during our stay if we need anything. This unit is on the 4th floor and has great open view of the ocean. Sea Turtles abound in water just off the beach and occasional whale out in the distance. What we enjoy the most is quietness of this entire condo building. Great local shops & we enjoy hanging out @ Teddy's Burger's!!! Look forward to our next trip and highly recommend Jerry's Condo!!! David & Duretta Indiana"

  • Great location near beaches

"We stayed here with my 12-year-old step-daughter. You are in a great location near Velzeyland and Sunset Beaches (Velzeyland is closer, but you must go through the side of a community gate to access) and you're also near Ted's Bakery (you must try their pies...the lemon cream is to die for). It's further down Kam Hwy, closer to Turtle Bay than Haleiwa, but it's safe and fairly quiet. The unit is clean and the fixtures aren't very old, but the layout is sort of weird in that the master bedroom is about twice the size of the living room with the pool table/chairs taking up most of the space. The living room couch is a futon full-sized foldout, or you can use the 3" futon mat (single person) on the floor for any kids. The master bed is actually pretty comfortable and large, though the pillows could use some updating as they're really flat. There aren't any dressers or closets, just a bit of open shelving in the master bedroom. There are some leftover items in the spice cabinet, some condiments will be in the fridge, and laundry detergent from previous renters, so you may want to check out the supplies before grocery shopping. There are also plenty of towels for bathing or the beach, along with two beach chairs and a little cooler. Renters are responsible for the gas for the grill, so you may also want to check to see if you need a new tank before getting started (and it will take 3x as long as normal to cook your food). There's enough in the kitchen to make a basic meal, but it's the usual vacation-rental quality (dull knives, minimal pots/pans, etc.). Because it's right off Kam Hwy, we could hear the traffic noise even with the a/c running, but ear plugs did the trick for me. The a/c has to stay at 72 degrees or else it will supposedly freeze the parts -- I wish it could've been cooler, as it was still a little warm for us at night (and you can't open the windows for the breeze b/c of the traffic noise)."

  • Perfect Family Vacation Home

"Our family of 6 adults and 2 grandchildren stayed for a week, and it was wonderful. We originally had plans to explore the island on a daily basis. However, once we got to the house, we all found it so comfortable and relaxing, that we rarely ever felt like leaving. The house had every amenity we could need, and was clean and comfortable. The beach was perfect and safe for our young grandchildren, ages 3 & 8. We would recommend this home to others and will definitely stay there again. Thank you Herb, it was great!"
