  • Comfortable and close to fun!

"Dave is great and pretty responsive. He was helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is nice with friendly neighbors. We had plenty of room for ourselves and 7 children. There is a snorkeling beach is close by, but we preferred Hukilau beach about a 5 minute drive away. We loved going to the PCC (which is just a few minutes away), a fun little fruit stand down the road, the Dole Plantation, a little hike a few minutes up the road, and other things on this side of the island. Had a great time and would totally stay here again."

  • Oh how we loved the North Shore

"I took my family and an old friend to stay at Malaekahana house and we all loved it and the location far away from the congestion of Honolulu and Waikiki. The beaches on the North Shore are wonderful with bath tub temperature water in June. This house is a must for larger groups - right on the ocean and beautifully equipped. Little shopping town of Hale'iwa close as well as Wiamea Falls and botanic gardens. Close as well to the surfing beaches for a winter trip. Food trucks were good which my grandkids liked plus Polynesian Cultural Center about 4 miles away. Not one of us had one negative thing to say about this vacation and the beautiful Soul Surfer house was 90% of the reason why. Good owners and managers - very helpful plus a neighbor to answer a few questions."

  • GREAT family vacation home, absolutely perfect!

"Our family of 5 was looking for a quiet place to relax in Hawaii and this was EXACTLY what we needed. The house is actually much bigger than it appears in the photos and the beach is PERFECT. In the morning we drank coffee on the beach and watched the turtles swim. In the evening we drank mai tais on the beach and watched the small sand crabs dig holes. We felt like we had our very own private beach. Our children swam in the ocean here (it's very safe, just wear water shoes!) and loved the house, too. We were about 30-45 mins from both Honolulu and the North Shore. The house has everything you could possibly need and was VERY clean. We really appreciated the snorkeling gear that was provided. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the kayak to go explore the island. We wanted to do everything on Oahu this trip so we didn't need to ever go back, as we want to explore the other islands. However, THIS HOUSE will more than likely bring us back, it was that perfect. If you want a semi-private location, with a perfect location to relax, this is it."

  • Highly recommend!

"This place is perfect. Nice quiet retreat, perfect for families or couples. We had a wonderful time staying here. It has everything you need and is in the perfect location. The pictures look very nice but it is even nicer when you arrive. I agree with all the 5 star comments that have previously been posted. We can't wait to stay here again!"
