"We stayed at Hale Aloha for a week and absolutely loved our time on the property. We were looking to get away from the traditional tourist spots in Waikiki and we didn't want to stay in a huge hotel. We wanted a vacation that was unique -- where we could really soak up the peacefulness and beauty of Hawaii AND also have the comfort of luxury home. When we found Hale Aloha, we got both.
I can't recommend it more. The wrap around deck has beautiful views of the beach and it was big enough that we could all hang out together, BBQ, and chill with our family. The property is perfectly landscaped and you can tell how much time and care is put into keeping it up. We got to enjoy kayaks and boogie boards, we used the tennis court every day, and we even played soccer on the big field. Definitely a perfect location for an active group that doesn't want to be cooped up in the house.
I also can't say enough about the private beach. It's unreal. It's just steps away from the house, and in the 10+ times we visited the beach, we rarely saw another person there. The best part is that it's a safe beach for kids and you can take beautiful walks up and down the coastline. Greg, the property owner, told us that the TV show LOST was filmed there. He was right: it looks exactly like the TV show.
The house is comfortable and beautifully set up with all the amenities that we needed. We were able to cook big meals, do laundry, hook up music throughout the house, watch TV, etc. We thought the privacy of the different suites was a HUGE plus. With a big family, we were each able to have our own little nook for some peace and quiet. For anyone traveling with a family... you'll know, this is important!
Lastly... working with Greg was an absolute pleasure. He was so accommodating to all our requests and needs. He gave us great recommendations of things to do on the island. The entire rental process was easy and we felt taken care of the entire time. We had such a wonderful vacation. I can't wait to go back!"
