  • Everything You Need!

"This is a fantastic apartment in an amazing location! The beach is right across the street and the lanai offers a great ocean view. It's not huge, but it is nice white sand, very swimmable, and usually not very crowded. We saw turtles just about every day. The apartment itself is really nice. No A/C, but with windows open and ceiling fans on, there is a nice cross breeze that keeps things pleasant--better than A/C any day! If you're looking for real Hawaii (NOT Waikiki) that is out of the way but convenient to the North Shore, this is a fantastic choice. We were here for a month while looking for a permanent residence on the island and couldn't have been happier."

  • Outstanding view!

"Three generations enjoyed a perfect week at this awesome property. After two days in Honolulu the slow pace and quiet (except for the awesome sound of the waves) atmosphere was welcomed. We embraced the "old Hawaii" feel of the North Shore visiting Haleiwa several times, experiencing nature at the nearby BEAUTIFUL beaches where we saw stingrays and turtles and a wild boar! While my 78 year old mom enjoyed the backyard view under the shade others went to the beach and watched the kite boarders, hiked Kaena Point Trail and enjoyed fishing and snorkeling. My niece even took advantage of Dillingham Airfield right across the street and sky dived for the first time and it was fun to watch her float over the house! We cooked several meals at home and loved ending each day sitting out back under the stars! The owners are very responsive to text messages. Thank you Rebecca for a vacation of a lifetime!!"

  • Amazing Sunset !

"Amazing view on the sea and the sunset......from the house ! Very clean and beautiful. It''s same of the photos. We apreciated the fridge with the ice maker and it was very cold. The furnitures in the kitchen are very good. We apreciated the glasses of champagn. The outside shower (with hot water) was nice and good with 4 peoples. The sencond room is a little bit small and without windows. The place is very quiet, it's a little community far away of the noise of the town. The place is very clean and the pool is good. No AC in the house. It's not a real problem with the wind of the sea and the fans in the house. The problem is when it rain (I haved 2 fulls days of rain during the week), you cannot open the windows and the house have more humidity. The others condos are close then the house and when the windows are open you can listen the neightbors. We make a lot of activities at North Shore. Nice week !"

  • Heaven on Oahu!

"It’s difficult to find the words to express how nice our stay at Konane Kai was. It was one of those vacations where everything just fell into place. To start, the condo is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable and private that we felt at home right away. Everything is first class (including designer furniture and artwork/photography by G. Brad Lewis and Kim Taylor Reece)! And the million-dollar, 180 degree view! My husband kept planning outings and all I wanted to do was to sit on the balcony – er, lanai – watching turtles galore (in the water and sunning themselves on the beach), tons (literally!) of whales, gorgeous rainbows, and record-breaking surf. (Not to mention the weekend night "squidders!" There is really no way to describe this phenomenon, so you will just have to experience it yourself!!) When we did go out, we had easy access to quaint historic Hale’iwa with its cute little restaurants, food trucks (YUM!), and shops. It reminded me of my 1960s summers on Long Beach Island, NJ. We were even lucky enough to be there during the rare “Eddie” surf competition at Waimea Bay – what a thrill! The wonderful memorials and museums of Honolulu/Waikiki Beach were just over 30 minutes away, along a beautiful route, but it was always nice at the end of the day to return “home.” Thank you so much, Mark and Jane, for sharing your place with us. It was a magical month we will never forget!"
