  • Life is Good at Mokuleia Beach House!

"Location, Location, Location! I realize this is a cliche' but there is no better way to encapsulate the beauty of this place without mentioning this right off the bat. The secluded ("private") beachfront property embodies a tranquil and surreal quality that is second to none! Bobby, our very gracious and knowledgeable host, was always available if needed while being mindful and respectful of our privacy. Jennifer was was very easy to work with (excellent and timely communication) and sensitive to our tight schedule as evidenced by her willingness and flexibility to save our dates while "the check was in the mail". This is a comfortable Beach House that had everything you would need, notwithstanding basic groceries for meals, should you decide to stay on the property for days on end. It is a pleasure to write this review and I would, without hesitation or reservation, say to people who are considering a stay here: "What are you waiting for?" A lifetime of memories awaits you. Mahalo nui loa, Michael Cunningham and family"

  • Beautiful property

"We stayed for 2- weeks and enjoyed watching sunsets and whales on back patio. The house was great and owners were on-site the whole time so an issue with refrigerator was addressed before we even noticed it. The beach is close by, town of Haleiwa is super close for grocery runs and shave ice. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you Rebecca and Pat for sharing your beautiful home!"

  • Great location for a quite retreat to the North Shore.

"We truly enjoyed our time at the Waialua Cottage. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable location. Excellent protected beach access and swimming made it very easy for our 5 year old to enjoy himself without the fear of large waves. Our hostess was very friendly and made sure we had what we needed in the cottage. We enjoyed spending time with her while lazing around the property. We will definitely plan on staying at the cottage again on our next North Shore visit."

  • Wonderful stay on the North Shore

"We spent 2 weeks in Oahu the first week at this property and the second at a resort in Ko Olina. There were 5 of us, 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child. The house gave us plenty of space but with a few limitations. There was only 1 bathroom which was an inconvenience but not a huge issue, and there is only 1 TV in the house which isn't a big deal for me but it is hard for 3 young people to agree on anything to watch on TV at night. The only other issue we had was that the place needed some dusting. The worst was the ceiling fans, most were coated with dust. But over all the rest of the place was clean. We also couldn't find a way to walk down to the beach just minutes away but that wasn't a major issue to us as we usually drove to some of the nearby beach parks anyway. If you are looking for a nice quite place to stay away from all the tourism on the southern part of Oahu this is a great choice. We would definitely consider a stay here in the future."
