  • Magical stay

"We stayed here for a month with our two little boys. We had been planning this trip forever. We have stayed in Hawaii many times before, and this was by far the best. If you want a fancy house...this isn't it. It's an old house. Some peeling paint...rusty original bedroom doorknobs..old furniture....etc. but we LOVED it. Coming "home" each day was the best part. It is EXACTLY as advertised: right on the sand. Super private beach. Charming, authentic, local residential street. Very clean. We went to bed each night listening to the ocean. Tons and tons of turtles every single day. The house next door to the right was empty the whole month except for 2 days...we were told it's been owned by same family we felt like we had a VERY private backyard space and made it even quieter at night. The property manager, Robert, was always available and quick to tend to any needs. Outdoor shower, deck, beach chairs, large table to eat dinner outside, laundry room, view of ocean. 10 minutes max drive to Haleiwa, our fave town. Local Coffee shop right down the street Brew & Foam highly recommended. Great house!!!!"

  • Beautiful location, awesome house, perfect getaway

"From the moment we arrived we were in love with the house and location-it had everything we needed! There were 3 families that stayed here….6 adults and 5 children all under the age of four. We all fit comfortably. The kids loved playing in the backyard and the ocean wall was tall enough that we didn't have to worry about them falling off. However, we still made sure to watch closely so they didn't climb up but it wasn't a big concern as I had thought it might be. The house was well stocked and even had a highchair and portable crib. Also had lots of great games, snorkel gear, fishing pools, and binoculars! The only thing that would've been nice was to have some blackout curtains for the bedrooms. We couldn't swim directly in front of the house because there wasn't enough beach but the view was beautiful and we loved listening to the ocean! There was an awesome beach just a couple hundred yards down the road that we went to almost every day...evening time at this beach was magical! It was always quit and we saw lots of turtles, some stingrays, and even a seal. Haleiwa was only about a 10-15 minute drive from the house. We loved the Waialua Bakery there! You must go...they make all the food from scratch and grow most of the fruits and vegetables on their local family farm. Ice-cream sandwiches and smoothies are amazing, as well as,the sandwiches! Great prices too! We also rented some kayaks in Haleiwa from Tropical Rush to go up the river. I'd also recommend doing this during the evening as you're more likely to see turtles and the weather is cooler, afterwards they give you free shaved ice which is really yummy. (Don't waste your time standing in line for a shaved ice at Motsomotos) This trip was absolutely amazing and The Hawaii house was perfect for the quiet and relaxed trip we were hoping to have! Loved the beautiful location we'll be back for sure!"

  • Fantastic!!

"We stayed at Pat's home with our two adult children and son-in-law and had an EXCELLENT time! The house was ideal in every respect...the bedrooms/bathrooms, the living area, balcony/deck and the kitchen make you feel like you are home...a very comfortable and relaxed home. The patio area with swimming pool and hot tub make the day extend into the evening, allowing you take in the night sky...and more ocean sounds! And then there is the view...Wow!! The trade winds moving through the house made even the warmest days pleasurable. The ocean waves resonate through the house...a sound you never grow tired of hearing. The beach is quiet and enjoyable. We have stayed on the North Shore on two other occasions in the last three years, but north of Haleiwa...if you like spending time in traffic, stay on the north side...if you want shorter commutes to Haleiwa for grocery shopping, souvenir shopping, eating, I highly recommend Pat's home based on that alone. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time!! You will enjoy every minute of your stay!!"

"What a wonderful place! Literally steps from the ocean with large picture windows to enjoy the magnificent views - what could be better! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook at home and dine overlooking the ocean. The beaches nearby are beautiful and never too busy. The grounds are immaculate. The owners were a pleasure to deal with............we can't wait to return!"
