  • A little peace of heaven

"If you really want to experience living in Hawaii, this is the house for you! Away from the crowds, you will enjoy the tranquilly of the island with your own private beach. My favorite part was listening to the waves every night and drinking my coffee outside enjoying the view. The house was roomy and very well stocked. Grocery stores not too far away. If I'm ever lucky enough to come back, I will definitely stay here again!"

  • Everything You Need!

"This is a fantastic apartment in an amazing location! The beach is right across the street and the lanai offers a great ocean view. It's not huge, but it is nice white sand, very swimmable, and usually not very crowded. We saw turtles just about every day. The apartment itself is really nice. No A/C, but with windows open and ceiling fans on, there is a nice cross breeze that keeps things pleasant--better than A/C any day! If you're looking for real Hawaii (NOT Waikiki) that is out of the way but convenient to the North Shore, this is a fantastic choice. We were here for a month while looking for a permanent residence on the island and couldn't have been happier."

  • 25th Anniversary Celebration

"How can you fully describe a vacation that far exceeded our expectations, in large part because of this beautiful home. Jill was exceptional in the handling of the rental, even being in on surprising my husband with our family arriving 2 days after we arrived. We celebrated the 4th of July with bonfires on the beach and the fire works of Turtle Bay on the horizon. We celebrated our 25th anniversary on July 8th with a sunset catamaran cruise on the Ho'Onanea which sailed out of Haleiwa, followed by dinner at Haleiwa Joes, who provided a complimentary bottle of champagne. In between the celebrating our 3 grandchildren, ages 14, 12 and 10 and daughter and son-in-law spent plenty of time in the ocean making good use of the water gear, including a kayak, that was provided. No need to go out to eat, bbq dinners, served up by our son-in-law were the best. Not to mention breakfasts of fresh fruit and Ted's Bakery pastries. To say that we all cannot wait to return is an understatement. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to call this beautiful home ours for 14 days. Mahalo Jill"

  • Beautiful, comfortable, paradise, home.

"Beautiful. Just steps away from the beach you can view the easternmost point to Waimea Bay. You can also see the turtles that live there right from your home. Comfortable. Joe and Janine were excellent hosts. They were able to give advice as to where to go, shop, and see, yet they gave you space to explore on your own or just sit at the beach and chill. Paradise. The sunrises were colorful and the sunsets over the ocean were memorable. A couple were covered in clouds, but the sky always gave a good show. There is a pod of turtles that allow you to swim with them; along with the coral and colorful fish it was truly a paradise to snorkel in. (Equipment was there for our use.) Home. Located in the lower level of their home, it is steps away from the beach. They made us feel at home - down to bringing us fresh fruit, letting us use the laundry, and trying a different coffee pot so we had our morning fix. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. My husband even called it a "Grand Slam" as it has everything we hoped for and was completely away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and the Pipeline beaches. We were able to see many of the sights, but we left a few for the next time we travel to Mokuleia/Waialua/Haleiwa area."
