"We are frequent visitors to Hawaii and this is the best condo in which we have stayed. The location is great, off the beaten track. The "virtual" lanai is a real treat as the wall of windows opens to a nice sea breeze and the sound of the ocean, fall asleep listening to the waves. The condo was very well stocked, furnished nicely, and managed efficiently. Easy access to North Shore. Try a glider flight out of Dillingham Airfield if you want some excitement. I highly recommend this location, but don't try to book the first week in February as we will be coming back again. p.s. Try the new Beach House restaurant in Haleiwa for good grinds and a cool setting."

  • Five star excellence!

"What an incredible experience! Thank you, Mark and Jane, for your attention to detail, your lightening fast response to our questions, and for the opportunity to spend time in such a beautiful place. You clearly know what vacationers need and want in a home away from home. From the visually pleasing and well cared for interior to the stunning beach setting, this was everything we’d hoped for. We were constantly delighted by the beauty around us as we relaxed on the very private lanai; the gorgeous ocean waves, sea turtles swimming about in the water below, awesome colors in the sky - including rainbows and the moon and stars, and a beautiful waterfront for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing. We could go on and on! We took great pleasure the serene quiet of this lovely oceanfront condo and of the area in general. It was a peaceful, relaxing place to settle in after enjoying the distinctly different energy of the Waikiki area or the many other vibrant places such as nearby Haleiwa, Turtle Bay, and beyond. Try exploring the other direction as well! Our hike to Hidden Beach featured extraordinary, powerful waves and even monk seals on two occasions. Also not far in that direction are more beautiful beaches to check out, along with the Kealia Trail - a great hike that brings you high up to some spectacular views of the area. We appreciate the unforgettable experience of our stay at Konane Kai and the personal touches by Mark and Jane that made us feel very welcome. We knew immediately we’d come to the right place and would certainly welcome the chance to return. Thank you so much!"

  • Wonderful Home

"We just came back from staying 10 fantastic, amazing days at this house. There were 8 of us. 6 adults from age 66 to 20 and 2 kids, 11 and 9. Plenty of room for all, fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook, have fun, beach play, or just sit and enjoy the views. And the surfer bench was such a plus. No one enjoyed or used that bench more than uncle Bernie did. We all wished we would have stayed the whole 2 weeks. Such fun was had by all and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great home to stay in on the North shore. Will be back!"

  • Great location and perfect for what I needed.

"Betty was great to work with and the location was perfect for the conference I was attending. I didn't spend much time inside and really only used the place for sleeping. My only suggestions would be to upgrade the bed. I love a firm bed but this one could use an extra pad to prevent sore hips and promote a restful night's sleep. Thanks!"
