  • Great value and location for the family

"Great location, nice simple home. I'm giving it 5stars for ease of rental, location and practical use value. We were a family of five with one friend during this stay. The rooms are on the small size but enough room for 2. The 5th and 6th were in the living room on the couches. No problem for kids. Although the BBQ unit was Inoperable on one half and you must supply your own beach towels, it does not warrant less stars. You have to work with it at this rate. Yang provided lots of equipment to use. The home was clean and served us well. You can tell that Yang is trying to make his guests comfy. He was present throughout but not seen nor heard. He also provides extra towels quickly. Thank you for the nice stay. Melody: California"

  • Hawaii Heaven is truly Paradise

"We stayed for a week with 4 adults and 4 kiddos and had the time of our lives. This house was beautiful and steps away for the roaring waves on the beach. If you are wanting to get away from the "tourist trap" of Honolulu...the best thing to do is rent a home and this is the one that should be on your list. The beach was gorgeous; however, a couple of days the waves were way to strong to get in, but no worries there is Waimea Beach 5 minutes down the road that is perfect for the kiddos and to snorkel. Not to mention if you want to get great local food hit the food trucks, Teddy's, or the village near by (Haleiwa). In addition, one of the families took advantage of the beautiful sunsets and had professional family pictures taken one night! The Master Suite is to die for...with the wonderful views to the ocean and the the breeze flowing through. Downstairs we had the patio doors open all day and night to enjoy the island air. Throughout the property there was numerous amenities we enjoyed from ping pong, pool toys, DVDs, games and our friendly little geckos visited us daily. If you are planning to stay in Ohau this place is a must! Thanks so much Dan - we had an awesome time!"

  • There is no way to describe how perfect this place is!!!

"My wife and I arrived to celebrate our anniversary expecting this to be a place to sleep and eat. We were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful views right from the living room/kitchen and the front porch as well as the warm, comfortable and clean living area. We spent 11 days exploring the North Shore area. We went on several hikes, swims and adventures that were suggested by Judy and Mark. It was like having a tour guide available for the whole vacation. Every amenity worked great. We rode the bikes, used the snorkel equipment, used the washer/dryer several times, used the beach chairs/umbrella several times and even asked if there was a guitar, which Mark loaned me his personal acoustic for the entire stay. Judy and Mark are wonderful. They are always available to chat but never intrude. We felt welcome and pampered. The kitchen was clean, well stocked and had everything we wanted. We ate at several local food trucks and restaurants suggested by Judy. They were great and we were able to find a variety of places without breaking the bank. We also bought groceries at Food Town just down the road and found their prices very fair. We found this area of Oahu very friendly and never experienced theft or felt threatened in any way. There are so many things to do within 20 minutes of this place that we only left the immediate area to visit Pearl Harbor and hike Diamondhead. Overall, we can't say enough good about this place and Mark and Judy. We have already recommended it to co-workers who are trying to book it soon. We would not ever stay anywhere else on the North Shore/Oahu."
