  • Clean with all the basic necessities!

"The studio was ample room for my husband and I. Nestled in the country North Shore area. Beach access was across the street. Location was close to the Polynesian Culture center as well as the Hilton at Turtle bay. Our studio had a private patio area but inside was a little small with our luggage inside . No drawers to put our clothes in. For the amount of time we actually spent at the studio this was sufficient for our needs. We plan on going back next year but maybe stay at the larger apartment in the front."

  • Lovely economical property, exactly as described by owners

"My husband and I stayed in this condo for 5 nights and it was everything we had expected and wanted. It's not fancy, but it's clean, right on the beach, easy to get to from almost anywhere on Oahu, and extremely secure and quiet. We had a small view of the beach and could walk right out there without crossing a street or highway, and we could keep the windows and sliding door open to the breezes. No air-conditioning would have been needed, because there are two ceiling fans and everything stayed nice and cool. There are several yummy food trucks fairly nearby, and quite a few markets and supermarkets. We had everything we needed for a first time in Hawaii and just loved this little place. If we return to Oahu, this spot would be on our list of places to stay."

  • Picture Perfect Location!

"This was a family vacation for my husband and I and out twenty-something sons and their girlfriend/spouse. As soon as I walked through the front door and was magnetically drawn to the back yard I actually got teary eyed at the beauty and the realization that were were finally there! I was so excited to have our family together, and we spent many moments sitting in the yard or on the beach just talking and laughing together; the memories that were created that week will last a lifetime. Within our first hour there, we spotted a turtle swimming just in front of the house. The location is perfect, close to grocery shopping, snorkeling, Haleiwa, Waimea Bay and Valley; and the food trucks. The house is perfect, exactly as described and more. It is fully stocked with everything that you could want or need, from the kitchen, the back yard and all the beach accessories, even a bbq, and surf boards. Although we were there during a week with considerable humidity the rooms were always cooled by the ocean breezes and we always slept comfortably. And whatever you do, take Sandra's tip to a not so well known about beach up the road a way to view turtles (see Hale Moana House Book on the desk for info) the beach is stunning and we saw many turtles swimming along the shore. We really did not have to travel far for an adventure. Although the twenty-somethings did want to go to Waikiki to experience the city and nightlife/excitement and once there we all agreed that we preferred the North Shore. My husband was experiencing some back pain/troubles prior to our trip so we did have to change some of our plans. But Waimea Valley is an easy walk to the falls and you still get a feeling for the inland tropical experience of the island. We also went to Kaena Point and walked the trail for a few miles to the "hidden beach" which was a beautiful day and easy walk. One week is not enough and we definitely could have spent another week there, allowing us more time to lounge around the house. I will surely miss the mornings spent drinking coffee outside overlooking the beach with my husband. And most memorable of all, our son proposed to his girlfriend on the beach it was magical! Hale Moana has something for everyone!!! We will be back! Mahalo!"

  • Couldn't ask for a more breathtaking view

"Great property and the view...we rushed back every day just to sit on the back deck and enjoy the sunset while watching the waves."
