  • Great and affordable place

"The studio is in one minute walking distance from a nice beach. It was wonderful to go there for a swim early in the morning when there was not a single soul yet. The studio itself is a bit small, but it's very clean and has a big fridge and all kitchen appliances you would need. Shops and nice places to eat are also in a very short walkable distance. The location is away from the most touristic places and big resorts, but everything is easily accessable by a car. You get a chance to experience the usual island life. Geri and Ke'Alii were very nice and helpful. We had some small problems at the unit, but they reacted promptly and made everything to make our stay pleasant."

  • Location! Location! Location!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location, lot, landscaping is wonderful. Home is large. Really two homes connected. But homes are old. Master bedroom lacking dresser or drawer space to unpack. One old small chest with broken drawers! King bed sets in front of window and blocks view of ocean. No master bathroom. Shared hall bathroom that has not been updated. Very disappointing for this price of home. Lots of levels in home....up one step to dining...down one to living...up one to kitchen....down three to utility room....through a bedroom and down two steps to the other house, living, kitchen area....down two steps to bedroom! But gorgeous ocean view from front living room and yard! Haliewa is just minutes away. Great parking, easy access. House does have air cond which is nice. Kitchen has nice appliances, dishes, etc."

  • Location, location, location

"The location is perfect! World class snorkeling across the street. You can get in the water before the crowds arrive and don't need to fight for parking. It is about a 1.5 mile bike ride to Sunset Beach or a 0.5 mile bike ride to Waimea Beach Park. Easy. The place itself was perfect for two and there can be a third on a sofa out in the main room. We only had one ice tray in the freezer so we bought two more (and left them behind) so we could have ice water during the days at the beach. There is a spice rack in the kitchen, but there were no spices in it! We left behind salt and pepper. We used all the amenities: bicycles, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, outdoor grill, outside table and chairs, and the laundry facilities (with laundry detergent). It was great to have all that available! And you can't beat the location."

  • Exactly as pictured!

"We just returned from a wonderful week long stay at this beach house. The best way to explain it is that it's exactly as it looks in the photos! The bedrooms were spacious and with 3 teenage children, we felt like we all had our own space to go to after being out sightseeing each day. We enjoyed the common area for family puzzles (which are in the closet, along with a few games) and had a couple of relaxing meals at home. There's a nice assortment of snorkeling equipment for several people, boogie boards, a few life jackets and sand toys stored under the deck. Our favorite thing about this location was the wonderful ocean breeze that came in all 3 of the patio sliding doors! No, you do NOT need air conditioning, as there are plenty of fans and ocean breezes to keep you cool. It is a quiet location, yet just 2 minutes from a Foodland Grocery store and several stores. It takes a bit longer to get places in Hawaii than we expected due to the twisty roads, but when you have an ocean view on one side and gorgeous mountain views on the other, it goes by quickly! Bitsy was responsive when we had a question during our stay and clearly notified us about everything ahead of time. It's less than 10 minutes to Turtle Bay Resort, where we went for a nicer dinner one evening. The beach by the house is private and beautiful!! We enjoyed the monk seal that came up several days to sun herself. The waves on the beach are excellent for boogie boarding, but some other nearby beaches are better for snorkeling. We loved our stay in this relaxing, quiet beach house and would definitely stay there again!!"
