  • The perfect accommodations for a great Hawaii vacation.

"The Maile Penthouse was a perfect place to stay and experience the best that Hawaii has to offer. The location is perfect and the accommodations were great. I stayed here 10 days and could have stayed forever. The almost 360 degree views and breezes were wonderful. For those who prefer a/c it was great to have that option. The large flatscreen tv was great too. Also, internet reliability & speed was great. The condo had everything needed for a great stay. The building- the Diamondhead Beach Hotel & Residences was a wonderful place with nice friendly people and a great Aloha spirit vibe. The ocean was right there and it was always nice to take an afternoon swim in the warm Pacific waters and then relax and dry off looking at the view from the patio area on the comfortable lounge chairs with a drink in my hand! I look forward to my next visit there. It was heaven! Jan the owner was gracious and helpful and a pleasure to meet. I enjoyed all the new friends I met there as well. :)"

  • Excellent accomodations

"My husband, granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, comfortable apartment. We spent a week here exploring all Oahu had to offer. We had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We did have a rental car that we used daily so the garage was a big plus. We spent our time in residence on the deck enjoying the trade winds and beautifully landscaped back yard. We walked to Waikiki, which took under an hour, depending on your destination. Parking anywhere in Waikiki is difficult. I advise you leave early for any activity, even driving to the north shore. But it's all worth it when you explore this beautiful place. I will say we didn't really have an ocean view. It is 1/2 block away but with all the tropical foliage, we couldn't see it. It was a private oasis in a very busy city. Harvey stayed in touch with us and was very helpful from my first inquiry to checkout. We highly recommend this apartment."

  • Nice, clean, great owner hospitality.

"We very much enjoyed our all most 6 week stay. Bill was extreamly helpful, prompt and a great friendly guy. (Loved the spaghetti sauce and pasta...). Well stocked and equipped. We love the location and will be returning. We would definitely recommend any of Bill's units."

  • Perfect for 3 families with kids

"If you have 3 families with small kids, this place is perfect! Why? the kids can play in the backyard with complete security and safety. Unless they can scale a 4 feet wall or dig a trench to the neighbors' yard, they'll have lots of fun running around in the lush backyard. The *only* danger might be coconuts falling from the palm trees, but maybe they have helmets in the garage too. Speaking of garage, that in itself was worth renting this place. They've got everything! surf boards, pool toys, beach toys, bikes, snorkels, goggles, etc! Parking is a bit tricky as you'll either have to back in when you park or back out when you leave. But a little Hawaiian Aloha "shaka" hang loose hand shake to other drivers can usually do the trick. The place has 3 suites. Two of them in the main house with tubs (good to bath little ones). The last one is not connected to the main house and is accessed by walking by the pool. All rooms have A/C units. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need, besides the actual food. There are 2 Safeways nearby. There must be 50 glasses & cups, plenty of plates, bowls, utensils. The (not too salty) salt water pool has direct view to Diamond Head. And with all the beach towels they provide you in the house, you can probably swim several times a day. Definitely a place worth renting!"
