  • Very nice stay

"Everything in the unit was as advertised. We arrived to a clean updated unit that was nicely furnished. The kitchen was adequately supplied and more than ample for our needs. The décor had a nice island feel. We travel to Hawaii frequently to visit family and we will definitely considered this unit for future trips. My only recommendation would be a dining table on the lanai so we could dine while enjoying the sunsets, but I'm just being picky."

  • Wonderful place to stay

"My daughter & myself had the best stay in Mary's lovely condo at the Ilikai. As others have reviewed before the king size bed was extremely comfortable, the view great, all the added extras provided from kitchen utensils, bathroom items (you could have left your toiletries at home!) The Ilikai is situated in a really good location slightly out of the main hub of Waikiki & an easy walking distance (which we did plenty of). There was no noise from any other rooms of doors closing, toilets flushing which can so often was very restful. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone & hope to one day return again. I was so happy with my choice....we had a beautiful stay. We never even turned on the TV! Thank you so much Mary for enabling us to spend time in your condo & for my daughter to enjoy her 1st visit to Hawaii after recently celebrating her 21st birthday. Peta (Sydney, Australia) Dec 2016"

  • Beautiful hotel close to beach!

"My fiancé and I stayed at the Ilikai recently for 9 days, this was our first trip to Hawaii. Terry made the booking and check in process very simple and was quick to respond to our questions. (Thanks Terry!) When we arrived, our room wasn't quite ready yet so we had a drink at Cinnamons, the cute little bar onsite. Very good food, drinks and staff! We came here everyday for a drink or at least to say hi to the bar staff. Both Derick and Alana were so kind and helpful in answering all our questions about the area. Special thanks to them for making our stay so memorable! We then got the message that our room was ready so we got all settled in. Our suite looked exactly as the pictures, clean, neat and stocked with all the essentials (coffee, some spices, some grooming care, beach mats, chair and umbrella). The kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed, bathroom has a nice big shower. Ample closet space and big lanai. It was a little noisy due to being on the city view side but much to be expected. This hotel is in a great location, minutes to the beach and right on the marina and has a beautiful lobby and courtyard. The buses stop right outside the hotel and run quite frequently. Ala Moana mall is a few minutes away by bus or a 15 minute walk, Walmart is near there and reasonable for groceries and liquor. In the other direction is Waikiki, which offers an abundance of restaurants and high end shopping stores. Our favourite restaurant was Doraku, best sushi we've ever had! Go for happy hour between 4-6pm. Our only complaint on this trip, if we had to pick something would be, the bed was quite firm for our liking and the curtains let in too much light. Other than that, we had an amazing time here and would definitely return! will most likely try an ocean view room next to see the view from the other side!"
