  • Perfect position

"My husband and I came for our birthdays which are a day apart.. We arrived very early from Australia and were quite tired. Luckily we were able to check into the room at around 9.30am which was much appreciated. Everything was perfect, the position, so close to Ala Moana shopping complex, it was just a 10 minute walk and the bus right out front to take you to Waikiki beach and beyond. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the marina and ocean was spectacular. The kitchen was well equipped and the free wifi was great. Would definately stay again and recommend wholeheartedly. The owners were also very easy to deal with and most obliging."

  • Great View! Nice Place!

"I stayed here from 1/27/15 to 1/1/16 with my husband, my two in-laws, and my sister in-law. It was a little cramped with 5 people, the second bedroom isn't enclosed by a real wall, instead there are sliding panels, and the futon bed is not the most comfortable thing in the world - but other then that unit was pretty nice! I do echo the other reviews that say that the unit needs a little TLC in the bathrooms especially - but it was nothing too bad. There was a ton of things to use in the kitchen and the owners left us a lot of fun pool and beach things to use. We loved the view, we loved the location of the apartment. It was such a quick walk to the beach and the pool and it was great being a top of everything. The building itself had bands playing every few nights in the lobby area which was really nice. PROS: Great location. The pool and beach are right there and it's a easy drive to Pearl Harbor, Dimond head, etc. Good amount of pool equipment and kitchen equipment to use and tons of towels. CONS: You have a pay to valet park ($28 a nigh). A little cramped and the condo needs a little bit of TLC. Overall I think is a decent value for the price."

  • Great location

"My wife and and I had a great week at the Ilikai thanks to Linda and her condo. The location put us looking over the marina and we watched the sunset from the lanai. It was tastefully decorated with a comfortable king bed. The condo was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Linda provided a binder with all the information you need including bus routes. We rented a car and parked behind the Ilikai in public parking for $1.00 an hour. The ala mana mall is close as well as restaurants and a ABC store across the street. I read some earlier reviews of the Ilikai and the disappointment of all the closed stores in the lobby. Well the stores have made a comback and they even have a quick serve type store there. It had a nice pool and there was a salt water lagoon a short walking distance next door. I definitely would recommend this condo on Waikiki Beach."

  • What a View!

"We enjoyed this studio apt. with a fabulous view. As others have said, it's very close to the lagoon and the nice swimming beach in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The hallways are very hot (due to lack of air circulation), but the unit was always nice and cool upon our return. Eat breakfast on the lanai and contemplate the incredible turquoise color of the water. Beach chairs (although not in great shape) are available for use; a couple of beach mats would have been a nice touch, too."
