  • Great Condo

"I just returned from Hawaii on Jan 26th. This condo was a great place to stay. The owner Candace was available pre-trip for any questions I had. I have never rented from VRBO so was concerned that when I arrived I would not have a place to stay.. I spoke with Candace a few times before my trip which gave me a little peace of mind. When we arrived the building manager let us in and gave us the keys just as we were promised. The unit was clean and very comfortable and quiet. The lanai was great we spent each morning and evening out there. The beach chairs and coolers that were provided came in handy when we went to the beach. The location is awesome only about 1.5 blocks from the beach. I would definitely stay here again. Mahalo"

  • Excellent Waikiki location, good apartment overall, a few things could be better

"This is a nicely located 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment, just a few minutes walk to the heart of Waikiki beach. It was set up well for our family of 3. We had good communication with Mark, the owner. A few minor things: - In Hawaii, I like to open the windows and let the breezes blow through, but here the street is quite noisy and the windows have no screens, which makes the next issue more of a problem. - Bugs - Regardless of being extremely careful with food, we dealt with a lot of bugs, from tiny fruit flies (I think) up to several roaches in one bathroom. - Parking - We certainly appreciated that a space was included, just be sure you have a small car and a skillful driver as the garage is quite a convolution."

  • Lovely home..

"Sorry its taken so long for me to review! Our hosts, Danny and Anastasia, were reachable within minutes, for questions/suggestions Modern amenities, comfortable beds, having the laundry access was a bonus. The lanai was a wonderful place for peaceful breakfast, or even just a cup of tea. Beach chairs/umbrellas/ice chest/toys - all of the stuff one needs for a great day at the beach Kuhio Plaza location is FANTASTIC, only a few blocks off of the beach, shopping close by. So many fast food places nearby, but I believe when visiting somewhere new, you must partake in local libations, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We rented a car (jeep) which was a bit of a challenge trying to park, but by the last day I'd figured it out. YOU REALLY DONT NEED A RENTAL CAR. If you wanted to rent for a day or 2 there are several local rentals nearby, but also the main vendors as well. All in All a fantastic time, wonderful location, and would definitely suggest this gem for your travel needs."

  • Clean, cozy, convenient and well stocked condo

"First, I just want to say that Sara is an amazing host!! There were some technical difficulties that required handling on her part in the beginning of our stay and she was very professional, patient and kept in constant communication while issues were resolved. Upon arriving to the condo she made us feel very welcome with wine, chocolate and a warm smile. The condo was in a perfect location for my medical conference; clean, tidy, well stocked with towels, linen and dishes. Within walking distance (two blocks) from the beach and all the shops and delicious restaurants. I was even able to walk to my conference at the convention center most days depending on weather. It rained a couple of days. We were in Honolulu for 10 days, and cooked quite a bit as well. This condo was well stocked for cooking everything!! We would cook dinner, have some wine, walk around town and then maybe watch a movie or hang out on the Lanai to breathe in the fresh air. One other thing we truly enjoyed were the items Sara had available to us for going to the beach; chairs, plenty of beach towels, cooler, umbrella, bogey board etc. This allowed us to truly enjoy our time on the beach without worry of having to buy anything or traveling with unnecessary gear. Definitely would come back here and stay and we enjoyed our first time to Hawaii. I forgot to mention, some of my friends who were in town to attend the conference also requested to stay at the condo once they visited the condo (so much roomier than their tiny hotel)...Sara was happy to accommodate them with a small fee. Which we were happy to pay as it kept us all together."
