  • Awesome view and location

"My daughter and I stayed in this room for 6 nights. We had stayed in another unit at the Ala Moana the previous week. This property (345943) was definitely superior...a larger room with a full balcony and an amazing view of both the city and the ocean for less money. The sunsets were beautiful. For the price we thought it was great value. It was very clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive to our last minute request for an extension. Everything promised in the room description was provided and the hotel itself has a pool, exercise room, small shops, laundry facilities, restaurants and a Starbucks. We would not hesitate to return to this property again."

  • A nice stay

"Overall, our stay was nice. We had a few kinks, but not terrible. We would still come back and stay again. Found a few normal wear and tear on the place. Unfortunately found out, the fire alarm in the building goes off when someone is cooking and sets off the smoke alarm in their complex. Oops! Both times happened at night when we were sleeping. Scared the daylights out of us and the kids. The building's water got shut off for the first half of the day for two days, they had to fix some leaks in other condos. They worked fast and were very nice. We weren't caught off guard by it and they gave everyone enough notice to get extra water and hygiene taken care of before the shut down. The manager of the building was nice, along with all the other residents. They would give us local suggestions on what to try and where to go. Loved that! We also really liked the owner and her assistant. All were amazing! Anna's place is a perfect spot and has an outstanding view. We would definitely come back and stay here again."

  • Well maintained one bed room unit. Great location and secure building.

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the unit. Bus stop outside building which is very handy. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Food pantry 10minute walk down the road for groceries. Centrally located for shoppaholics. One little thing to mention for more than two people staying in the unit there is very little storage space for their luggage as all the cupboards were full of household cleaning products/equipment/items."

  • Lovely 2 bedroom condominium right on Waikiki beach!

"The condo unit was very nice! Not only was the condo great, with nice amenities and a wonderful view, but the host, Trieu, was an absolutely fantastic host! He greeted us when we arrived and gave us a detailed introduction to the condo unit, the building and the surrounding area. He was extremely considerate and made us feel very welcome! He provided a variety of refreshments, including a Kuerig coffee maker with coffee pods, and also an assortment of beverages and tasty snacks. Unexpected but greatly appreciated! There is also a parking garage under the condo with a reserved space, which was nice. The property is right on the beach. There are numerous great restaurants an easy walk away, such as Roy's and Ruth's Chris, and other more casual restaurants. The Outrigger Hotel next door has restaurants overlooking Waikiki beach also. Although we didn't avail ourselves of them, it looked like there were surfboard and other water activity rentals available. Even though you are in the heart of downtown Honolulu, the road noise wasn't bad and there is virtually no honking in the city, as in New York and D.C., for example. It was very safe, with families and other tourists enjoying the city at night. There is an ABC store, also a short walk away, where you can get groceries and other supplies, including many fresh foods, as well as wine and liquor. We rented a car, so we didn't use any public transportation, but bus service seemed readily available. We didn't need Uber or Lyft, so I'm not sure of their availability. A GPS or Apple/Google maps was a must when driving. Definitely!!! I went scuba diving, which left from a nearby marina. They took us a few hundred yards offshore, and the diving was OK. Visibility was good. Lots of reefs (of course), but a moderate amount of damage to the reefs also, probably from being right out from the marina. However it was still enjoyable and I saw many fish and two juvenile white tipped sharks (no threat at all). Also saw a Green Moray Eel and a Spotted Moray Eel. Depth was @45 feet. There are also deeper dives on wrecks available, but I just did the one 2 tank reef dive. Hanauma Bay is a short drive away, which offers great snorkeling. We drove around the island and enjoyed the diversity of the island. It is quite diverse! Anyway, I can't over emphasize what a nice person and great host Trieu was! Highly recommended!!!"
