  • Fantastic Condo a few blocks from Waikiki Beach!

"First trip to Hawaii and wanted to stay in Waikiki in order to be walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and other tourist attractions. All the hotels were very expensive (easily twice per night of this condo), did not offer a kitchen, multiple bed and bath rooms, or the amount of space. Other condos I considered on Waikiki did not look to be well maintained, or offer the extra bath room that was a real plus. At first, driving to and finding this unit was a little troublesome due to road construction, one-way streets, and the google/apple maps wanting to take you down a dead-end street to the side of the building you cannot enter from. After a few minutes, we found our way in, up to the room, and WOW! Clean, well furnished, and a lot of welcomed extras I did not expect. I am going to list the cons first, but these are all minor and a meant to offer a fair review: Cons: -Lanai view is not great -Main sliding door to Lanai needed maintenance (very minor) -This area of Waikiki is a little run-down - expect to see more homeless, empty lots, broken sidewalks -The provided parking space was a little bit of a challenge to get into with a full-size car -Master bedroom smoke alarm would go off when making toast (needed to always have the door shut) Pros: -Price and location - less than half the hotels, and about a 7 min walk to Waikiki beach and shops/restaurants/aquarium/zoo -Two bed rooms plus a sleeper sofa (we were 4, but could accommodate 6) -Extra half bath outside master bedroom (kids did not need to disturb us when our door was closed) -A/C units worked really well since we were coming from cold climate and not use to 80 degree every day -Rooftop - beautiful ocean views, renovated bar area, and couple of nice community grills -Furnished, full kitchen, and just 3 min walk from 24/7 ABC store for grocery items -Big LCD TV in family room, smaller one in master bedroom -Free, fast WiFi -Parking space -Extras: master BR closet had beach chairs, beach mats, bags, picnic basket, and a lot of other very useful things (we made good use of) Finally, Patty was extremely friendly, helpful, and always available. We needed to have medical supplies delivered to the unit before we checked-in and she took care of all the arrangements. I cannot express how helpful that was given the effort it takes to travel with a medical condition. You will not find anyone on Hawaii with better customer service! Patty - Mahalo!"

  • Peaceful staying。

"ALOHA! Greg! We stayed at Marine Surf for 10 nights. I can't speak English 、 But Greg understands translation function in English. There were some troubles, but Greg responded immediately. We were able to get a stay in a nice room. The room was in the center of Waikiki and was very convenient for meals, shopping and using the bus. Next time I would like to ask Greg. Thank you so much! AKIKO."

  • Oahu Harbor Condo

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good vacation. Stayed for 3 nights. Nice building and good location, within walking distance to beach, shopping, dining. We were under the impression that parking was included, but it was not, so valet was $28 per day. The hallway did smell rather musty. The unit was very nice and comfortable. Good beds and nice lanai with beautiful view. The warmers on the toilets were nice. The battery in the smoke detector died in the middle of the night. It was continually chirping and we had to disconnect it from the wall because there was no 9V battery to replace it. Overall, a good stay, but a little pricey."
