  • Fantastic accommodation

"My sister and I stayed here 4 weeks ago, highly recommend it, it has everything provided and the most comfortable king size bed. One block from the beach we could see the ocean from our room. It was quiet, free wifi and helpful Managers, thankyou for our wonderful memories"

  • Perfection!

"I moved to Los Angeles from Oahu almost 30 years ago, and I return home every couple of years to visit family. When I go home, I usually take 1 friend who stays with me at my regular spot, the Moana. However, this trip, I decided that it would be a 4 gal trip....2 40 somethings, 1 60 something, and me (50 something)....all very young at heart! We wanted a location that was close enough to the beach so we could spot each other from the room on the beach, and at the same time, be in the heart of Waikiki so we could walk to restaurants, shops, and clubs at night. Additionally, since we had a group of 4 it was important to have a comfortable living room / entertaining, common area so we ladies could sit around and have coffee, chit chat at the end of the day, etc. The unit: This 2 bedroom/2 bath unit was the right and perfect unit for our needs. Photos don't do the place justice. The sunsets from the lanais are beyond magnificent! The master bedroom was amazing with a huge walk in closet, double sinks to spread out, and door between the master toilet and sink area. The master overlooks the ocean and has a sliding door that leads to the lanai...we slept with that door open every night and feel asleep and woke up to the lovely sound of the waves. I had a baby shower for my sister and had 25 people over comfortably no problem. There is a buffet counter in the dining area that was perfect for the event. Ample seating inside and out. Another great thing was the keyless entry! We didn't have to share a key between the 4 of us...we just each wrote the key code / combination and were able to access the unit independently. Every amenity (icemaker, and even Bedais in both bathrooms!) Additionally, parking is free daily! At the Moana I think the parking was $40 per day! The washer and dryer allowed us to do laundry and return home with clean clothing. We purchased all of the things we know we would need from Kmart on the way into Waikiki from the airport (laundry detergent, inner tubes / noodles, sun screen, food, snacks, etc.). Be sure you ask Paul to show you how to utilize the TV and actually operate it before he leaves...we had to call him to get it to work for us. Service: Paul the property manager was amazing. The Captain Cook office team was tremendous in answering all of my questions and addressing my concerns. Bottom Line: I will find it difficult to stay anywhere else going forward...I am spoiled now with the room and location!"

  • Best condo experience ever

"The condo is beautifully designed and situated in such a convenient central location in Waikiki! Most of the popular sites are either walking distance or easily accessible by bus. The owner has thought of nearly every amenity to make a visitor's stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is well designed for functional use and the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, plus pull out sofa bed set up makes it a great rental for medium size families. The pullout bed is surprisingly substantially more comfortable than most even though it squeeks a bit. The adjustable AC is available in every room which is a godsend after a long day in the sun and they are all equipped with strong fans. There are coin operated shared laundry rooms located just down the hall which is convenient for light packers. The television is Internet ready with Netflix, Amazon, etc... and there are multiple electrical outlets easily accessible in every room. Between the counter, the dining table, the coffee table and the balcony seating, there is plenty of space to relax and eat or lounge. The balconies offer both a beautiful city view and partial oceanview with an overview of Hilton Hawaiian Village's performance stage for free entertainment and the upper floor provides a fantastic natural breeze for a breath of fresh evening air. The furniture is very tasteful, the cushions are very plush and there are plenty of bed pillows in just about every firmness. The entire unit is very clean and kept in good order. A lovely personal touch is a guest journal where guests can write about their experience including feedback or recommended places to eat or sights to see. The owner has provided plenty of suggestions for out of towners to check out the local area and I loved all of the recommendations. With hotel like accommodations in a place designed with a personal and homey touch, this condo has won my family over on every single level. I'm so glad I lucked out by finding this place and not only will I come back here on a returning trip, I'd highly recommend this unit to any and all of my friends and family also looking to visit Waikiki."

  • Perfect Location...but

"The location was of this condo was perfect, which is why I gave it the 4 stars. Walk directly out to the beach and enjoy everything Waikiki has to offer. There was a bus stop just outside the building which made it very easy to get to the Arizona Memorial. We arrived at the condo before check-in, so the person who met us put our bags in a storage room and we wandered around town until it was time to check-in. That was great! The cleaning service clearly does just the minimum to get ready for the next guest with basic surface cleaning. The refrigerator has not been wiped out in a while, and the stove was not cleaned very well. The shower looks to have built up mildew and soap scum on the tiles, and a glass door that has not been cleaned in a while. Overall, the whole place needs a deep clean. The ice maker didn't work. Contacted the owner and he confirmed that there was no water line to the ice maker, but there weren't any ice trays in the unit either! How long had it been like that? A bit frustrating, but again, the location was perfect."
