  • Waikiki Grand - Fantastic Owner and location

"Owner was a pleasure to deal with - kept contact high, was very helpful with linen replacements and was extremely friendly. Location was fantastic (literally 5 mins walk to the heart of Waikiki - 2minutes to the beach - if that) Condo is a little old, but is everything you need for a pleasent stay - price certainly makes it worth it. Views of the beach, Honolulu Zoo and Diamond Head are amazing and have to be seen. Would stay again!"

  • Excellent location in the middle of Waikiki!

"Gary's Place was exactly as represented. We couldn't have asked for a better location in Waikiki. The unit is on the 30th floor of the Royal Kuhio with a wonderful view of the mountains, canal, golf course, and night lights. The unit was very quiet, being up that high away from street noise. The elevators are very fast and efficient. The parking garage was very secure as well as the building itself - requiring a pass key entry to both the garage and the facility itself. There is an entire floor dedicated to laundry, pool, weight room, pool table, ping pong, etc. etc. Gary's Place is the perfect condo for two people. There was plenty of room and it's always nice to have a kitchen for meals and snacks for those times we don't eat out. You would not be disappointed with Gary's Place. It is easy walking distance to the beach and is almost next door to the Marriott Courtyard Hotel."

  • The best .........

"My husband and I spent December/2015 in # 1009. It was the best holiday we have ever had. This apartment is at the end of a corridor so there is no foot traffic, making it quiet and private. The view from the huge windows is Diamond Head and the ocean. The best view in the world. Everything was comfortable, clean, pleasing and organized. In fact, to our surprise supplies like soap, paper towels, shampoo, toilet paper, etc, was provided. We felt pampered. There is a smart TV for evening entertainment, and always, always the incredible sound of ocean and Diamond Head. We have stayed in Colony Surf many times, and in other units. This is the best. We have booked for December 2016 and grateful, very grateful, to get it!"

  • Perfect location if you are looking for less hectic beach area on Waikiki Beach!

"Views for this condo area breathtaking of the lagoon and ocean. You also have views of the Marina and parking lot but the lagoon and ocean views as well as accessability to the beaches make this facility one of the nicest on Waikiki beach. I walked most or the beach and a number of hotels have very little to no beach at all; especially closer to downtown Waikiki Beach area. Those downtown are on the other side of the street from the beach. If the beach and some seclusion are your priority, this end of the beach is where you want to be. You can go down two to three blocks if you want to be in the crowds. The restaurant, Cinnamons, in the hotel lobby is a good option for breakfast, lunch or dinner. More casual but open to the views of Marina & Beach. Good food and great drink specials. Very reasonable prices in comparison to some of the restaurants we visited during our stay. If you are looking for more upscale dining, the Ilikai has Sarento's on the top floor - sweeping views of Honolulu. Most restaurants and shopping are within walking distance from the Ilikai. Condo itself is very comfortable; beachy theme; not extravagent. Kitchen fully stocked if you prefer to cook during your stay. We ate in mainly for breakfasts and lunch - it saved both time and money to have the option of a fully stocked kitchen. Views when all drapes are open is phenominal. We did not spend a great deal of time in the condo as we explored the island daily. This facility is within 20 minutes of Pearl Harbor; 15 minutes from Diamond Head and no more than 1 hour to the North Shore and most parts of the island. Owner is professional to work with and is helpful in regards to top attractions to see on the island. This was one of the most pleasant vacations our family has taken - part due to the mere fact that it is Hawaii - the other is the convenience of this location to so many attractions and beach/ocean amenities. Our children are 23 and 24 - this was a College Graduation present as well as a 30 year anniversary trip for my husband and myself. I could not have wished for a better trip. The kids had plenty to do on their own - hiking trails, surfing lesson at the Hilton Hawaiian Village next door. Access to Ilikai concierge was available. Valet parking at facility was $28.00 per day if you rent a vehicle which we did. Parking near by was in the $24 range in the Marina. We opted for valet for the convenience/exceptional service."
