  • Fantastic value, great location, an excellent choice for Waikiki

"We've stayed in Honolulu hotels before but never again; for a family of four this condo beats them for value and flexibility. Only 1 block to the beach and right on Kuhio Ave where there are a ton of small shops and restaurants but without the crowds on Kalakaua Ave. Getting in and out of the building by foot or by car was easy. The building is very well staffed and secure. There is a basic convenience store on the ground floor next to the elevators but there are ABC stores outside on almost every block. Laundry room is literally right across the hall. It's a corner unit that is nice and breezy with good ventilation and a nice lanai. Maybe the unit could use a microwave but other than that it's just about perfect. Wish we had found this place sooner. Highly recommended."

  • Very convenient and well located. Excellent value.

"This building is old and in need of some love but for the price and convenience it cannot be beat. Dena's apartment is clean and everything was as described and expected. The key pad system worked well. As a corner unit there is a view of the ocean from the kitchen window and small window in balcony but be aware that the balcony faces diamond head. With so many people staying in these buildings the lifts are super slow to arrive. Parking can be a problem if you're returning later at night and the parking is very tight but functional and having parking is a huge bonus for such a high demand area. Our free wifi in the unit stopped working for a day but after turning the power off and on it is was back and working at a good speed. I'd definitely recommend this apartment as a great value very convenient option for a stay at Waikiki. Thanks for the beach towels as well. Very handy. You've thought of everything. Will book again if back in this part of the world."

  • Easy, beautiful, and ideally located.

"The unit was perfect for 2 or even a couple with kids. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The balcony was ideal for home cooked meals to enjoy with a view of the ocean and diamond head. Dana was easy to work with and provided great instructions, directions, and recommendations for our trip. I personally loved the location. Not far off Waikiki at all, but far enough away from the busy part. The pool was small, but great for a dip. We spent most of our time at the beach that was only a short walk away. We would stay here again anytime!"

  • Great location, comfortable property, 177635

"My husband and I recently stayed at the Waikiki Banyan and had a wonderful time. The condo is spotlessly clean, spacious, and perfectly located. The kitchen is fully equipped, but we only used the toaster, coffee maker and refrigerator. It was a very short walk to the beach and an easy walk to and from the many restaurants in the area. We were in Waikiki to attend a wedding at the Hale Koa Hotel, which was also walkable. We appreciated the free parking, and made regular visits to the convenience store and coffee shop located on the first floor. The condo is very close to many bars and restaurants as well as to the beach. We visited Lulu's, Arancini's, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Tiki Lounge, and Starbucks, only a block or so away. The Royal Hawaiian's Mai Tai Lounge, Roy's, and Nobu were also an easy walk away. We enjoyed walking down to the beach for the sunset lighting of tiki torches and Hawaiian music. Diamond Head and the hike to the top is just a short bus ride or a long walk away. Our favorite part of the trip was strolling along the beach after dinner, when the air turned a little cooler. We rented a car for just two days, to drive up to the North Shore and to Kailua Beach. From the condo, it was very easy to leave Waikiki and return at the end of the day. Although it was clean and everything worked properly, I would say it's time to update the bathroom. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and have recommended the condo to our friends."
