  • Amazing Condo with Unbeatable Views

"Marilyn met us on our arrival at the condo. She took the time to show us around the apartment and offered us tips for restaurants and local amenities. The condo is everything you will need for your trip to Waikiki. It is clean, tidy and very comfortable and it was a bonus to have the full kitchen available during our 5 day stay. It is in a fantastic location, only a short 5 minute walk to the beach and all the shops/restaurants. One of the best features is the unbeatable view of the ocean from every room in the condo. Marilyn left us a bottle of champagne for our upcoming anniversary, which was a wonderful surprise. We will definitely be visiting Waikiki again, and our first preference will always be Marilyn's condo. Thanks for a wonderful time Marilyn."

  • Fantastic value, great location, an excellent choice for Waikiki

"We've stayed in Honolulu hotels before but never again; for a family of four this condo beats them for value and flexibility. Only 1 block to the beach and right on Kuhio Ave where there are a ton of small shops and restaurants but without the crowds on Kalakaua Ave. Getting in and out of the building by foot or by car was easy. The building is very well staffed and secure. There is a basic convenience store on the ground floor next to the elevators but there are ABC stores outside on almost every block. Laundry room is literally right across the hall. It's a corner unit that is nice and breezy with good ventilation and a nice lanai. Maybe the unit could use a microwave but other than that it's just about perfect. Wish we had found this place sooner. Highly recommended."

  • Fantastic location!!

"Marni's condo is great! We stayed here with our two teenage daughters, and it worked very well to have them in the master bedroom with the two twin beds and we slept in the Murphy bed. The kitchen is just fabulous, it had everything we needed. Laundry is right down the hallway, so very convenient to do. The Banyan's cookout deck was so fun, we got together with friends and had a cookout one night. Marni is a pleasure to work with and had all the information we needed. You couldn't ask more for a location, so walk-able to many Waikiki places, and not difficult to get on the highway from the condo. The only suggestion I would make for future renters is to bring some extra towels if you have people in our family who like to use more than their fair share. I believe there were four sets of bath towels, and four beach towels, but after a week, you would appreciate the extra if you don't want to do laundry. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Great home base, very comfortable and well equipped, spectacular mountain views

"We arrived late evening and were greeted with a spectacular night sky view out the panoramic windows facing the Ala Wai Canal and mountains when we walked in the door. It was a wow moment. The welcome basket on the kitchen counter was full of goodies and enjoyed throughout our stay. There was even fresh flowers to brighten the room. This unit was very well equipped with lots of bath towels, beach towels, even soap, shampoo, garbage bags, beach chairs, the coveted Tommy Bahama beach umbrellas, shopping bags, a drying rack for your damp swimsuits, and more. Laundry room and garbage shoot is conveniently located across the hall. There is a TV with Netflix but we didn't turn it on even once, spending most of our time on the beach and exploring. Knowing ahead of time that the couch was not a sleeper sofa, we opted to bring a compact camping air mattress for our teenager to sleep on and that worked great. We prepared all our meals in the kitchen and enjoyed having all the utensils, pots and spices available to us that we needed. It is a compact space but has all you need. Viewing Diamond Head out the kitchen window is a nice perk. It is a quiet unit being a corner, however, for a few days we had very noisy overhead neighbors, lots of thuds, banging and voices. Location of the Waikiki Banyan is great - only about a 5 - 8 minute walk directly to Waikiki beach. Within walking distance to lots of shopping, several ABC Stores, the Honolulu Zoo, etc. There is a parking pass provided in case you rent a car, however, we chose to use the public transit which was available just a block away. We took The Bus ($2.50 pp) to many different beaches along Waikiki as well as all the way to Hanauma Bay (one hour), Pearl Harbour (one hour 15 minutes), a farmer's market, and to the trail head for Diamond Head. We enjoyed staying in this beautifully decorated unit to celebrate Christmas in Oahu."
