  • Small but in a great location

"Read previous reviews so knew what to expect. Location is key, your are steps from the beach and a lot of key buses that will take you out of the city to some great sites. Liked the fact that there was beach gear that you can use and not have to pay rentals for e.g. snorkling gear, body boards and beech mats. Like the fact that this is like a home with things like utensils, salt and pepper, and they provided beer for the guest (sadly to say I am not a beer drinker but still liked the touch). Great views of Diamond head from the 10th floor!!! One thing that stuck out was I had an issue with the door being stuck and not able to get in; the owner Clayton responded very quickly to the issue (was there in 5 minutes) and got me in. Was very impressed by that!"

  • Perfect location, beautiful place, easy & convenient

"This rental was clean and comfortable with perfectly adequate kitchenware and space and very effective AC! Brilliant! We were nervous about the size of the bed in the listing, but it's perfectly comfortable for 2, with a nice comfy plush topper. Fair warning - the topper does hold heat a bit, so you'll want to adjust the AC overnight accordingly. Easy access with the customized door-code (instructions provided on confirmation), and very responsive hosts. As others have mentioned, you do hear the garbage trucks in the morning, often as early as "almost-7", but we were either up or nearly so. Earplugs for those sensitive or the sleepers-in would be a good idea. Grocery is close enough - 25-30 min walk up to FoodLand and a $15 Uber back. Sign up for the Foodland Maika'i card and save a ton. Close to favourite and recommended eateries (Leonard's, Da Poke Company, Side Street Inn to name a few). Parking at the Shell saved us a chunk of change and is only a 5 minute walk. No sweat! And don't forget the unreal rooftop view. Make your way up with brekky in the morning to catch the sunrise over Diamond Head or relax in the hot sun late in the afternoon (with an adult beverage, of course!) All in all, wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend it highly. A++ for responsive hosts and complete, accurate info! Hope to see you again soon!"
