  • We could have stayed forever!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is just a really nice place, nothing fancy, but good vibes, lots of natural light, wonderful tropical landscaping, fantastic location, and friendly, helpful, professional staff. Mike the Maintenance Man went out of his way to be responsive and helpful; when the ISP went out (not the building's fault) he still personally trekked around to get everybody up and running fast. Bus stop nearby, walk to beach, 2 good breakfast restaurants at hotels right of Lili'uokalani. Couple of blocks from Food Pantry, International Market Place. A little old Hawaii! Lots of friendly people walking cute dogs in the neighborhood, too! Thanks Mike and Alii for a great stay."

  • Excellent. Owen P

"Having stayed at this apartment now on three or four occasions speaks for itself. The condo is bright always clean and in a quieter part of Waikiki. It is conveniently located and very accessible to the excellent bus services that service the whole island. The condo is very well equipped and the owner is very attentive to any issues that arise during a stay. The condo has recently been given a facelift."

  • Fun, Slightly Quirky Place with a Fantastic Location

"We stayed at Liz Taylor's (as we came to call it) over Christmas for two weeks in 2014 (disregard above date). Our two kids, age 8 and 9.5, and my parents joined us and we had such a great time. As other mention, there are some quirks and in a lot of ways you can see the house is set up for catering type situations (weddings in particular) - example: a really big kitchen without as much cabinet space as you would expect. But we found places for everything and had more than most would due to the length of our stay. The open floor plan is great. Indoor pool was awesome for the kiddos. But the real kicker is the ocean front - the view is great, the little beach is nice, and the bay is shallow for a long way out - I could go out a couple of hundred yards and be only waist deep (at low tide, you could go further). Our kids are both strong swimmers, but we traveled to go out and get in some surf. We would take the lounge chairs down and sit in the water and read - that calm and nice. Nice enough access into the heart of Honolulu, but also nice to be out of the area. We spent a lot of time over on the Windward side and this is a quick jump around the point. As others have said, Albert was great and the team was always very responsive to any questions we had. A great option to consider versus hotels in Honolulu proper, especially if you have more than 4 people. Highly recommnded! And say hi to the ducks for us ..."

  • Nice property. Would recommend for those on a budget.

"Good experience. Pros: -close to everything in town -Front desk attendant Dave was super helpful and provided beach gear that we did not have -decent pool area, very clean and well kept -laundry on site -quiet and safe Cons: -uncomfortable pull-out couch -dive bar next door led to a lot of people loitering out front"
