  • Beautiful condo with amazing views

"We visited in December 2016 and were extremely pleased with the condo. It had everything that we needed for a pleasant visit. The view from the lanai was amazing and we loved watching sunrises and sunsets of Diamond Head and the ocean in the distance. Waikiki Beach was only a block away. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed having 2 tv’s in the condo. Having a full kitchen helped save on food costs. The only improvement that I could see would be to put in a new shower head. We had a couple of issues with the condo (security code issue and problem with the a/c), but Rob was very helpful with getting the problems corrected very fast. On the day of our departure our flight didn’t leave until that evening, and since nobody was checking in that day, Rob suggested that we stay in the condo until it was time for our flight, so we got to lounge around the pool for a few more hours. I couldn’t imagine that happening in a hotel. If we are able to make it back to Waikiki someday, we will definitely stay here again."

  • Comfortable stay in great location

"My wife, son and I stayed at this location over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a very enjoyable stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable for all three of us. We had plenty of room and the building was nice and quiet. The view from the 15th floor was pretty great as well. The best part is the location. Parking is very expensive in Honolulu and you will not find free spaces anywhere. After the second day we realized we could walk to nearly all our downtown spots within minutes. I would definitely recommend this condo for a stay in this area. The price is reasonable and the owners are very accessible and nice people. They even invited my family to their house for Thanksgiving, though we did not attend, it was a very nice offer."

  • Great Place in Waikiki!!!!

"We really enjoyed this Condo in Waikiki so convenient to almost everything you would want. We were able to watch the fireworks from the balcony on Friday night set off by the Hilton on the Beach. This place was well worth it very clean and newly renovated. The pool on the roof top was great also when we would go to beach in the day and pool at night it was just great. Elaina was very good to work with and was just a phone call or email away and she would get right back to you. I felt very self there and the neighborhood was easy to walk and get around. Loved to walk on the Ala Wai Canal it was so beautiful to watch the rollers in the water practicing . The new international market place is very visible from the balcony but I really do miss the the old market place. All in all it was a great place and comfortable. We were there for a month and I hope next year we can get this condo again. There is also parking but make sure you get a small car."

  • How did we love this? Let me count the ways...

"I am sorely tempted to not review this little gem of a perfectly located, adorable, comfortable studio apartment because we want to stay there when we return to Waikiki and it books up very quickly with new and returning guests. The location at the east end of Waikiki is perfect, close enough to walk to the hubbub, but far enough from the congestion and the crowds. The building is a ten story high rise called the Waikiki Grand Hotel. The desk staff is friendly, the building is clean and Daniel's apartment is in a quiet location on the fourth floor. The unit is not on the beach view side, but that is okay -- it feels like a tree house, because at four floors up, you look out onto the leaves and branches of a huge tropical tree. There is a solid wall of windows that you can open and let the tropical breeze in. There is a galley kitchen that is fully stocked with dishes, coffee maker, etc. The bathroom is roomy with shower/tub combo. Daniel supplies plenty of towels, high thread count cotton sheets, etc. There are beach towels and beach chairs supplied for your convenience. Daniel has decorated the place in a clean, modern style with interesting artwork on the walls (always a plus for us). The unit is very clean, with none of the usual tropical schmutz you often find in Hawaiian rentals -- always a plus! The laundry room is in the basement. The machines are new and the cost is minimal. Our laundry was done in under an hour. The laundry room is secure, so you don't have to sit there and watch the machines spin - you can go back upstairs and watch the big screen TV (with cable) in the studio. We stayed four nights and for half of that we had a rental car. You can reserve a parking place in the basement through the front desk, the cost is not high for a full 24 hours (I think from Saturday till Monday it cost 33$ total). Daniel is concerned for his guests' comfort AND he returned our damage deposit in full before our flight home touched down at LAX. We love Honolulu and we'd stayed at a $350+ per night hotel there in the past. Daniel's studio is just as nice as those hotels, it is located in a sweet, convenient spot (oh, there is a Starbucks a block away; an abc store downstairs, everything you might want is a very short stroll away.) We look forward to staying in the studio again!"
