  • Best condo experience ever

"The condo is beautifully designed and situated in such a convenient central location in Waikiki! Most of the popular sites are either walking distance or easily accessible by bus. The owner has thought of nearly every amenity to make a visitor's stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is well designed for functional use and the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, plus pull out sofa bed set up makes it a great rental for medium size families. The pullout bed is surprisingly substantially more comfortable than most even though it squeeks a bit. The adjustable AC is available in every room which is a godsend after a long day in the sun and they are all equipped with strong fans. There are coin operated shared laundry rooms located just down the hall which is convenient for light packers. The television is Internet ready with Netflix, Amazon, etc... and there are multiple electrical outlets easily accessible in every room. Between the counter, the dining table, the coffee table and the balcony seating, there is plenty of space to relax and eat or lounge. The balconies offer both a beautiful city view and partial oceanview with an overview of Hilton Hawaiian Village's performance stage for free entertainment and the upper floor provides a fantastic natural breeze for a breath of fresh evening air. The furniture is very tasteful, the cushions are very plush and there are plenty of bed pillows in just about every firmness. The entire unit is very clean and kept in good order. A lovely personal touch is a guest journal where guests can write about their experience including feedback or recommended places to eat or sights to see. The owner has provided plenty of suggestions for out of towners to check out the local area and I loved all of the recommendations. With hotel like accommodations in a place designed with a personal and homey touch, this condo has won my family over on every single level. I'm so glad I lucked out by finding this place and not only will I come back here on a returning trip, I'd highly recommend this unit to any and all of my friends and family also looking to visit Waikiki."

  • The best .........

"My husband and I spent December/2015 in # 1009. It was the best holiday we have ever had. This apartment is at the end of a corridor so there is no foot traffic, making it quiet and private. The view from the huge windows is Diamond Head and the ocean. The best view in the world. Everything was comfortable, clean, pleasing and organized. In fact, to our surprise supplies like soap, paper towels, shampoo, toilet paper, etc, was provided. We felt pampered. There is a smart TV for evening entertainment, and always, always the incredible sound of ocean and Diamond Head. We have stayed in Colony Surf many times, and in other units. This is the best. We have booked for December 2016 and grateful, very grateful, to get it!"

  • Great location, great price, great host

"I was extremely impressed with my stay here. It was in a really good location! It's about a 20 minute walk from the Ala Moana area, which is probably the farthest we walked - but the walk is really nice. The price was definitely fair, and the space itself was cozy. There were three of us staying here, and I gotta say it was more than enough room for us. The other people who live at the Hawaiian king were really nice, and the front desk guys were super nice too. Everything was really clean inside and Jason was really good about replying right away. We got there early and he even let us check in early - what a great host! This is my third time in Waikiki and the location was just wonderful for us. The bar that sits outside the apartment was awesome too!!! I plan on visiting again next year and renting this space again. Thanks for everything Jason!"

  • Awesome Experience

"This was my first VRBO experience and I was very impressed!! I stayed in unit 1007. From the first contact with Kai, through my arrival and departure experience with Thon, this was a great experience. This unit exceeded my expectations! The unit was immaculate and a perfect for size for 1-3 people. I loved having the kitchenette, which featured a full sized stove, refrigerator and microwave. There was lots of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. They supplied us with ample bath towels as well as beach towels. The bed and pillows were okay, which obviously is going to come down to individual preference (I am picky and rarely find a hotel bed that I sleep well on). The facilities were also great. I used the pool area several times. It should be noted that from 8am-9am, the pool is only supposed to be open for lap swimming and individual aerobics. Not a problem for me, but families with young children should be aware. I also had lunch at the little cafe on the recreation deck and it was quite delicious. The bbq area is also really nice. I didn't use it on this visit, but have stayed at this hotel in the past and enjoyed using them with family. I had a car and used the parking garage, which was easy to access, and had plenty of space available, close to the elevators in my tower. There was a Safeway up the road about 1-1.5 miles (on Kapahuluu Ave). The beach was an easy walk two blocks down. Also lots of places to eat or grab a snack in the general walking area. I did eat dinner one night at Side Street Inn up on Kapahuluu Ave and they had really good local food. I would definitely recommend renting from this company again and plan to use them again for future travels to Hawaii. I spent considerable time researching and looking at all of my options and this was the best value for my money. If I had tried to stay in this hotel going through traditional venues, I would have easily spent another $50-$75 per day on rental, resort fees and parking."
