  • Excellent. Owen P

"Having stayed at this apartment now on three or four occasions speaks for itself. The condo is bright always clean and in a quieter part of Waikiki. It is conveniently located and very accessible to the excellent bus services that service the whole island. The condo is very well equipped and the owner is very attentive to any issues that arise during a stay. The condo has recently been given a facelift."

  • Great location! Awesome view! Can't wait to go back!

"We just returned from our first visit to Oahu and we can't wait to go back. After exploring Waikiki for 9 days, we concluded we were in the best location at the Ilikai. You get the best of both worlds; a beautiful, quiet hotel with stores, restaurants (Sarento's rooftop view was awesome!), a coffee shop, pool, and wonderful views of the beach, marina and Pacific! Yet, you are within a 15 minute walk down to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki hotels, shopping and restaurants. The Ilikai is also a prime stop for tour buses and the shuttle. Once we took it all the way down to the heart of Waikiki (only $2) and walked back along the beach. We walked through the Hilton Village (right next door) every night on our way home via the walkway along the beach. The breeze off the water was incredible. Carl and Lulu took care of everything for our stay. The condo is well equipped with everything you need from dishes and glasses to beach chairs! The view is exactly as shown, beautiful! Thank you for sharing your home in paradise!"

  • Great home base, very comfortable and well equipped, spectacular mountain views

"We arrived late evening and were greeted with a spectacular night sky view out the panoramic windows facing the Ala Wai Canal and mountains when we walked in the door. It was a wow moment. The welcome basket on the kitchen counter was full of goodies and enjoyed throughout our stay. There was even fresh flowers to brighten the room. This unit was very well equipped with lots of bath towels, beach towels, even soap, shampoo, garbage bags, beach chairs, the coveted Tommy Bahama beach umbrellas, shopping bags, a drying rack for your damp swimsuits, and more. Laundry room and garbage shoot is conveniently located across the hall. There is a TV with Netflix but we didn't turn it on even once, spending most of our time on the beach and exploring. Knowing ahead of time that the couch was not a sleeper sofa, we opted to bring a compact camping air mattress for our teenager to sleep on and that worked great. We prepared all our meals in the kitchen and enjoyed having all the utensils, pots and spices available to us that we needed. It is a compact space but has all you need. Viewing Diamond Head out the kitchen window is a nice perk. It is a quiet unit being a corner, however, for a few days we had very noisy overhead neighbors, lots of thuds, banging and voices. Location of the Waikiki Banyan is great - only about a 5 - 8 minute walk directly to Waikiki beach. Within walking distance to lots of shopping, several ABC Stores, the Honolulu Zoo, etc. There is a parking pass provided in case you rent a car, however, we chose to use the public transit which was available just a block away. We took The Bus ($2.50 pp) to many different beaches along Waikiki as well as all the way to Hanauma Bay (one hour), Pearl Harbour (one hour 15 minutes), a farmer's market, and to the trail head for Diamond Head. We enjoyed staying in this beautifully decorated unit to celebrate Christmas in Oahu."

  • We Finally Made It!

"The owners of this property were really easy to work with. Just an email away with a quick response. Thank you Kim and Jeff for letting me stay at your home in Hawaii😊 Wow!! What an awesome place to stay. My husband and I planned this Hawaii trip 3 times, life happens, but we finally made it!! Ok. Where do I start...this condo is about 20-30 min. drive from the HNL airport and just a few minutes walk from Waikiki Beach. Literally 1 block. If you rent a car, the parking is free inside a garage. The parking attendants were all so very nice. You can always find a space, as it gets later, you just have to look a little harder. Wow!! What a view, the pic that they display looking out the 28th floor of the tower is what you will see stretching across the whole entire wall which is all window and when you look to the left from the lanai, you can see Diamond Head. It's really cool to wake up every morning no matter how early and see people in the water. The space is enough for 5, 2 and 2 plus 1 on a fold up, the bed is very very comfortable. The room has been updated since 2 years ago when I came with my daughter for a quick 4 day trip and is well worth what they charge per night. We didn't go swimming but I could see the pool and Bbq area from our lanai. We did so much in 7 days. There is so much to do and lots of things to see and if you love shopping, it's just footsteps away. I did use Yelp a lot for dining but the best thing about this condo is it has a full kitchen and you can shop at The local Food Land and cook your own food if you want to save your $$$ for fun stuff. We visited Pearl Harbor (USS Arizona Memorial, Bowfin Sub, USS Missouri, Plane Aviation Musesum), whale watching on the Star of Honolulu (didn't see any whales but got a rain check for another visit), saw the whole island from a Blue Hawaii Helicopter ($238, absolutely amazing!!) drove along the coast to beautiful North Shore and had shaved ice and ate at Giovanni's shrimp truck and had Snow Factory for dessert. The finest day was at the Polynesian Cultural Center where we spent the day visiting different villages and ending with a luau and the famous show Ha, The Breath of Life. We will return to this very condo. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation. I would recommend this place to anyone who coming to Ohau for some relaxation or lots of fun!!"
