  • Beautiful room with a view

"The room is in the Ilikai hotel which is located a 6 min walk to ala moana mall, and a 20 min walk to the "strip" on Waikiki. Very near many stores and restaurants. The room is totally renovated with a beautiful and stocked kitchen and bathroom. Many towels and all supplies. The bed is a very comfortable king size, the TV gets hundreds of channels and the wifi is good. The room has a view of the beach and diamond head . It was perfect for 2 people. The beach is a 5 min walk. There is a pool, but we did not use it. The aircon on works very well. The owner was excellent at getting back to us for all questions. We would stay there again."

  • Beautiful view and very responsive owner and rental management company

"We recently stayed at this property in later June 2016. We arrived later in the day, after the rental company offices were closed. When we flagged this to the owner and the management company, they were very responsive in ensuring that we could gain access to the unit but leaving our entry keys in a lock box. The unit itself is a great size for 2 people and was very clean and nicely appointed. It is basically an open concept bedroom to living room to kitchen, although there is a sliding wall contraption that you can pull should you feel it absolutely necessary to close off the bedroom. The bed is very comfortable and has more than enough bedding and pillows to meet anyone's needs. The kitchen is a good size with all the cooking utensils and pots and pans that you could need. the only (very small) comment I would have is that there were no basic little things like I have seen in other rentals, such as salt, pepper, sugar etc... For a 3 day stay, it would have been nice to simply have those simple things, rather than have to scrounge for packets at various fast food joints nearby! :) The view from the very nice sized lanai was beautiful - the picture is exactly what it looks like. It was indeed a relatively easy walk to the beach. The unit also comes with 2 beach chairs and a parasol which proved very convenient. Parking was as "advertised" with the best overnight option being the Marina parking literally right next door to the building - charging $1 per hour. That said, we discovered on day 2, that there is a limited "free" parking option right near the lagoon, which allows you to park 6 hours during the day without having to pay... this certainly helped to manage costs of parking. Overall, this was an excellent rental unit and I would definitely recommend it."

  • AMAZING

"Wow what an amazing property, it has everything you could possibly want. Love the sea views the and the beds are so comfy. It is close to beach and restaurants and I loved sitting on the balcony of an afternoon. There are plenty of sleeping options and being a group of 4 girls we had no problems. I would recommend this property very highly and will be returning in 2016."

  • Great Unit. Great View. Great Location.

"Stayed here for about a week and this is great location right on Waikiki Beach. Unit has nearly everything you need. It was clean, well presented as it's shown on pictures. BEACH LOVERS - all things you need are available on the patio and beach towels are provided. KITCHEN was clean, all appliances were working, most of the things I needed to cook meal were all in there. BATHROOM was clean. The counter had shampoo, lotion and conditioner. If you're staying longer, might need to get bottles at ABC Stores (Walking distance) or Safeway (about 1.5 miles), LOCATION: about a block away from the beach. If you want to run, run on Waikiki beach towards all the shops or towards Diamond Head. The bedroom and the balcony has an amazing view of the Diamond head and the Ocean. It's near Honolulu Zoo. PARKING GARAGE - very tiny space, but make sure you request that so you don't have to pay daily. Internet worked well and it was fast. TV are all flat screen and modern. LAUNDRY: Make sure you get quarters, it's $2.00 a load, $2.00 for dryer (High heat lasts 1Hr). FOOD: There's a ton of food places near the unit. If you want to drive, about a mile away from Rainbow Drive Inn. 2miles - Agu Ramen. Poke, there's a new poke place nearby Safeway. Didn't get to try it, but you can also buy poke at Safeway. SOUVENIRS - It's about 15 mins drive, but I recommend that you go to Aloha Swap Meet. FRIDAY NIGHTS - Free fireworks show at Hilton Waikiki Village. It's a far walk, but with all the shops on your walk, I think you won't know the distance you've walked. You can always drive there, but get there early for better parking. There was a public parking we found for a last minute and cost about $10. It was about couple of blocks of walk. Next visit in Oahu, I'll definitely rent and recommend this unit again. Mahalo!"
