  • Very good location

"We just returned from spending a week in the Ginger House. The location was great. Easy to get to the market some food trucks. We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbor Memorial and Dole Pineapple as well as the beach and golf activities. We were quite close to everything except for the Pearl Harbor Memorial. We went on a Saturday morning so the traffic would not be with the commuters. The Ginger House has a nice layout but there were a few maintenance problems that needed to be corrected. The management has been contacted and I am assuming these items will be taken care of. A real plus for this house is the provision of bikes, snorkel equipment and beach footwear. Very much appreciated. We also loved the room air conditioning........so only had rooms that we were using turned on. Also, the ceiling fans helped a great deal. The deck outside was great with a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped - just needed salt & pepper shakers!! The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We were a family of 5 (4 adults & 1 child) and the space was just right for us. I would suggest you arrive at this house during the day.....as it could be very difficult to find in the dark. I certainly would recommend this home for your vacation."

  • Perfect

"We had an amazing stay at Tracy's condo. She has literally thought of everything in this condo. Drinks in the fridge, snorkel gear, beach chairs, sun screen, long distance calling... you name it, she has it there. This really saves allot of money considering things like renting snorkel gear cost $10 a person. The internet worked flawlessly (this is one of my pet peeves on vacation). There is a great balcony that has two chairs and a table that is surrounded by bamboo and palm trees - an amazing place to have coffee. The grounds around the condo are incredibly maintained. There are flowers, fruit trees and other tropical plants everywhere. There are crews there all the time maintaining everything and it really shows. There is allot to do here even within a 10 minute drive from the condo. Traffic seems to get really bad coming in and out of Honolulu during peak commuting times, but it is easily avoidable if you plan your days around it. Nothing but good things to say about this place! Incredible value! Thank you Tracey!"

  • We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Hawaii

"We looked at a lot of properties for a friends and family vacation that was leading up to a Hawaii wedding (though the wedding wasn't at the house). We wanted a place that was impressive and was different than a block of rooms in a hotel or resort. In all my searching, nothing else came close to the value and luxury we got with the Kahala estate. It surpassed our expectations. It was impeccably maintained and luxurious, with every amenity you could ask for. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and everyone had their own connecting bathroom. Everything from the main hall to the lagoon pool to the outdoor grill and patio (which was amazing - the grill was huge, well kept, and able to handle cooking for 10 people, and we were outdoors on that patio eating dinner many nights) gives the the impression of tropical paradise. Everyone was impressed by the place and thanked me again and again for finding it. It was in a quiet neighborhood, but with easy access to beaches, grocery stores, and local attractions (Waikiki and Diamond Head in particular, though we were all over the island that week). Even with 10 adults under one roof, we never felt crowded or in each other's way, even in high traffic areas like the kitchen, which was stocked with all the kitchen equipment and accessory needs for the group. Nikki was very easy to communicate with, answered every question quickly, and was a pleasure to deal with. We cannot recommend this place enough for any large group."
