  • Perfect location on the west coast's best beach!

"We could quite happily have sat on this balcony for the rest of our days! A trip to Makaha is not a 5 star tourist trap. It is an opportunity to stop, relax and enjoy a truly beautiful spot. Our family of 4 surfed, snorkled, and soaked up the winter sun. Seeing turtles, whales and dolphins was a daily event that Waikiki tourists paid $200 each to hop on a boat and cruise to our beach to experience. A hire car is highly recommended as there are no restaurants or cafes in walking distance, and we also made use of the full kitchen. Using this great condo as our base, we were easily able to explore every corner of Oahu. The North Shore, Polynesian Cultural Centre and Kuoloa Ranch are all fantastic day trips and getting around the island is really simple. You are pretty much an hour and a half from anywhere. Even though we visited in December, the wet season, Makaha always had exceptional weather and we were rained on every time we headed inland. The onsite management, Vern and Al, are fantastic. They gave us tips on where to visit as well as information on local surf conditions and places to eat. Respect for the locals goes a long way here. The condo has everything you need and is certainly the best in the block. We crammed in 2 adults and our 2 boys, 14 and 10, and had a ball. The kitchen is fully equipped, the space is comfortable and well furnished and the balcony exceptional. There is even snorkelling gear and body boards for your use. We can't recommend this condo highly enough. If you want a chilled, truly local experience without the hustle of a tourist hub, you will love this condo."

  • Authentic Hawaiian Theme

"We rented both Ewa and Hula Moon locations for our parents wedding anniversary, 10 adults. Both units were clean and decorated with a true Hawaiian theme. The beach was secluded, private, but rocky. I would not recommend it for small children as the currant and tide are quite strong. Dave the owner was fantastic when we told him one of the ceiling fans was broken – he came out within a few hours and replaced it! We knew the units didn’t have AC when we rented them, however it did not cool down much during mid- July and was quite warm in the evening to try to sleep. We recommend Germaine’s if you want to see a great Luau – only 25 minutes from Ewa Beach. Also make the drive to Kualoa Ranch on the north side of island, we took the Mountains – Jungle Expedition tour as well as the Ocean Voyage tour….both were excellent. Great place to eat there also and a souvenir shop that was awesome."

  • Amazing Place-Deric was fantastic!!!

"Just returned from an amazing trip to Ko Olina. From the minute I found Deric’s listing things couldn’t have gone any better. He returned every email and answered every question in a very timely fashion. I book multiple condo’s and homes through VRBO and Deric was by far the best owner to work with! The location was incredible, the room was spacious and clean, and the grounds were impeccable! I took my wife there for her birthday and things couldn’t have been better, it exceeded her expectations. The area itself was beautiful and there were restaurants within walking distance outside of the resort that had great food and variety. A+ all the way, thank you Deric!"
