  • A very quaint Hawaiian home and community

"This was a very enchanting authentic home. My daughter-in-law, who is from Fiji found the home and community to be very much like parts of Fiji. It was definitely nice to be so close to the beach so that we could enjoy Honolulu from a distance. When a place lists that is can accommodate 6 people I definitely like the idea that everyone is provided a room to sleep in rather than sleeping on couches in the living room. There were many services available in the town of Ewa Beach and the drive into Honolulu was not a long drive. The individual who helps with the booking of the location is extremely helpful and a joy to work with in planning your trip."

  • A great quite place

"Beach was nice. The house was very clean and spacious. Mike was a very good host. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay. Very close to all the major stores and restaurant's. We would go back again. Only a short drive to Pearl Harbor Larry & Fran Saskatchewan"

  • Delightful place

"We genuinely enjoyed this place. The setting right on the ocean is truly remarkable. What a treat and pleasant experience it's been to go to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks and wake in the morning to the same soothing alarm clock. One caveat, the accommodations are a bit rustic so if you are looking for POSH, look elsewhere. Having said that, the place was clean and more than adequate. We cooked a number of our meals in to soften the hit of our annual visit to Chef Mavro, one of the most remarkable dining experiences in Honolulu. The full kitchen is adequate for the preparation of any meal and there is no more pleasant setting for eating than at the surfboard bar watching the sea turtles playing in the surf off the backyard. The house is off the beaten track and I initially thought that inconvenient but found it to be no problem once I became familiar with the area. The owner and booking agent were both pleasant and most accommodating."
