  • Family of five over Thanksgiving

"We stayed in this wonderfull Ewa Beach home over Thanksgiving break. The property manager was very friendly and accomadating, the house itself was beautiful and the sea breeze that came through when the patio doors were open was amazing. We went to bed each night with the patio doors open and were lulled to sleep by the waves crashing on the seawall. The views from the back yard and seawall were absolutely beautiful the pictures posted on the website truly do not do them justice. This was a once in a lifetime trip to Hawaii to visit our son who is stationed there and we could not have had a better was beautiful, we were so close to everything we needed and the accommodations were perfect for our family of five. Mahalo for the wonderful memories."

  • Great Family Memories Created on Ewa Beach

"We took our 3 young adult daughters and their husbands with us to Oahu to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and stayed in this house that had plenty of room for all of us. There were 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and a large great room with lots of comfortable seating. The huge kitchen was outstanding with lots of counter space, high end appliances, ample seating at counter as well as at a full dining table. In addition, we ate many meals on the first floor lanai where we watched the sun set from a table that fit all 8 of us. The kitchen cabinets were stocked with almost every pot, pan and small appliance you can imagine. We shopped at the Safeway down the street (about 6 minutes away) and had no problem preparing meals for 8 and enjoying them comfortably seated. The view of the ocean from the back of the house was gorgeous. This property is by far the nicest on the street, and there are some run down properties around it, but it felt like an oasis. The few locals that we came in contact with were very nice. There was pretty good surf and we took advantage of the full surfboard, the boogie boards and the kayak that are conveniently available in the garage. We also really appreciated the collection of water shoes (all 8 of us found ones to fit our feet!) left for use and HIGHLY RECOMMEND wearing them as there is some coral in the ocean at the location and it can be a bit rough on your feet. The description of the property by the owner is very thorough and if you read it carefully you will realize the many amenities that are there to enjoy. Communication with the property manager and Victoria (owner) before and during our stay was seamless. The only reason we are giving 4 stars and not 5 is because of the lack of air conditioning (with the exception of one unit in the one downstairs bedroom). We were aware that this was the case, and there was great effort to keep things cool with abundant ceiling fans, floor fans, opening doors, etc., but in August, we Californians still found it warmer than we would have liked....the good news is we had the option of going out the back door and cooling off in the ocean!"

  • Hawaiian Family Vacation

"Our family of 9 including our seven year old grandson enjoyed the Ewa Moon and the Hula Moon rental units for ten nights. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean for both Ewa and Hula Moon. The rooms and furniture had an authentic Hawaiian motif and each units living space accommodated all nine of us. There is also a piano in the downstairs unit. We enjoyed the beach only steps away and also the Ewa public beach a very short drive away. The views of Honolulu and Diamond head during sunrise were beautiful. We walked on the beach most mornings and our grandson loved the waves and helped find beach glass and shells. We did our swimming on other beaches during our travels around Oahu and Hawaii. The upstairs lanai had great views and the porch swing was great for lounging. The property was perfect for our group of 9 everyone had a great time. We traveled all over the island of Oahu, visiting the North Shore for shaved ice at Matsumoto Shaved Ice, the Polynesian Cultural Center for a great show called Ha- Breath of Life and a great Luau, we climbed Diamond Head and hiked into Manoa Falls. We also flew to the big island, Hawaii for a day trip and visited the Volcano National Park. The property is just a short drive from the airport and Pearl Harbor, a great place to visit. The Ewa and Hula moon rental was a great place to return to after each days adventure. We would recommend staying here to friends and family that would enjoy quiet residential living. We hope to visit again someday."

  • Peace on Earth

"I don't even know where to begin... I guess I will start with how much I desperately miss this house and Hawaii. We just returned from my annual trip to Hawaii and we had yet another glorious day in one of the beautiful houses in Ewa Beach. This time it was this quaint little cottage that me and my husband spent many evenings outside on the lawn listening to the ocean, feeling the breeze and enjoying life. There were many evenings and mornings that we grab yourselves a cup of coffee walk down to the beach which was less than a minute away from our Hale, just to catch a sunrise or sunset. Everything we need it was at our fingertips towells, boogie boards, snorkel gear, shampoo, in all the different Essentials that we would probably need to cook/bbq when we wanted too! Definitely one of my favorite parts of checking into this beautiful Cottage was finding fresh pineapple waiting for us. Darla, Lori and Danielle really take pride in making sure your stay is not only extremely accommodating but they really take it a step further and make it feel like home. I don't think I could ever thank them enough for always taking care of us. I really didn't want to leave ever and cannot wait to come back. In Ewa Beach we were literally within minutes of the North Shore, short drive to the Disney resort (where I got the best massage ever) and we really enjoyed being able to see the fireworks in Waikiki from the beach behind our property! We had our own personal little spot on the beach and a perfect view of Diamond Head without even having to drive into Honolulu. We were just a married couple celebrating our anniversary and it was definitely the perfect size for us but it would also be quite enough for a small family. Please take your time and enjoy the back lawn was one of our favorite spots!"
