  • Outstanding value, great stay in Oahu away from the busy areas!

"This is our third experience with VRBO (our second booking directly). The owner and property manger responded to my email inquiries quickly, were both very professional and accommodating. The unit itself is quite spacious, modernized with nice furnishings and very clean upon arrival. A tasty bottle of wine and chocolates were an added touch and very much appreciated! Many living amenities and necessities were available; for instance, there are enough utensils/dishes for a week's worth of two meals per day for a couple. From the unit, there is quick access to the lower parking lot (visitors and placard parking) from the lower lobby and down the stairs. The complex is secure and guarded 24/7 and is way from the hustle and bustle of Oahu. The northwest side of the island has excellent hiking and scenery with quiet beaches nearby. That said, you must consider with tighter security, the property rules are stringent, especially with the parking placard and visitor pass. Be mindful the location does add extra time to travel and sightseeing other areas of Oahu. In exchange for being quiet and tranquil, this was very acceptable. Though the unit was well kept, the building itself is older and shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but note we are used to having a five gallon per minute waterfall at home :) Aside from these very minor things, we felt it was outstanding value for the nightly rate asked. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again and highly recommend this unit to anyone looking! Please kindly take a second to indicate if this review was helpful so I can focus my future efforts accordingly, thank you!"

  • Most relaxing vacation ever

"My 18-year old son and I stayed at this property for 8 days. Every year we go to a new tropical island to scuba dive or snorkel and this location was by far the best experience we had so far. This place is close to everything that was interesting to us, yet remote enough that we never felt crowded. The condo was immaculate, the beach was pristine, the surrounding mountains were within reach and the food choices were plenty. We never had to run the AC since the constant breeze was enough to keep us cool. Falling asleep every night to the sound of the waves was therapeutic. Watching sunsets every night was a far better show than watching the TV. I wish we can come back someday. Kathy was great to deal with and she let us have a very late checkout on the day of our departure. Thank you!"

  • Memorable stay

"Our 8 nights stay at Hawaiian Princess became one of the most memorable stays. The unit was equipped with everything we needed. We were spoiled having a direct access to the nice beach right in front of the property. The clean & uncrowded beach was so nice that we spent most of the time there. We snorkeled and saw tons of fish swimming right below us. We saw some turtles swimming by us as well. There were rocks just a few yards out in the water where the fishes found their hiding spots. We were thankful that the unit was equipped with gears including various sizes of water shoes we could use. We had a few days when the wave was a little strong that even a good size adult can lose balance, but the rest was fine. The view from lanai in the morning and sunset was priceless. The only down side is that the property is located in a little suspicious neighborhood tucked away from tourist attractions. Since we spent most of the time either in the gated property or driving out to tourist attractions, we did not mind the neighborhood. The traffic to/from Honolulu was usually heavy, at least 1/2 hour to Kapolei (about 15 miles) or 1-1.5 hour to Honolulu (about 35 miles). If your main purpose to stay in Oahu is to enjoy the beach, this is the place."

  • Amazing ocean view and generous neighbor

"My family and I spent 9 days 8 night from May 29 through June 6, 2016. We had a great time, everything was as described and more. There is tons of space everywhere, bedrooms, living room, kitchen, backyard area. The neighborhood is safe and secure. We slept with windows and doors open. The locals were extremely friendly. We had a gift exchanged with the neighbor and our kids were playing with their kid. We absolutely loved the house, everything you need is there. The local store and restaurant are near by. Our family will definitely return to this vacation home! Thanks Rebecca and Debbie for everything."
