  • Loved This Facility!

"We loved this facility. It is the best kept secret on the Island! A Gorgeous beach, friendly people, and room was awesome on ground level, walk right out to the beach. We loved having chairs and an umbrella handy for our days on the beach. We loved it!"

  • Wonderful base to explore the Island

"We spent a lovely two weeks here and we did not want to leave! The home is in a great location, steps to the beach. and great for taking day trips around the Island. Honolulu is only 20 mins, the north shore 45 min and KoOlina (where the lagoons are) only 20 min. The house is great for families, we were travelling with our three kids (8, 5 and 11 months), we needed comfort and we got it. Upon arrival we were met with a clean house, highchair and crib (as per request) and a lovely welcome basket of fruit and chocolate (THANK YOU). Brenda, the manager was very attentive when we called about the broken outside shower door and had someone fix it straightway. My only complaint about the house would be no vacuum cleaner, it was hard to keep the sand out and I had to sweep it in the corners so my 11 month would not eat it. Being in a local community, slightly off the main tourist areas, there are less restaurants. If you like fast food then you are in heaven, but if not there are grocery stores nearby or drive to Honolulu or KoOlina. In Ewa we did try Fiesta (mexican grill), Teddy's bigger burger and ninja sushi (which were all very good). There is a shave ice place called Ewa seed co. that makes great shave ice. The kids loved it. The house is in a fairly quiet neighbourhood, they do have a noise bylaw saying residents need to be quiet by 10 pm, although they had an exception on new years eve as it felt like we were in a war zone. Also the clean up after new years was pretty poor, the beach was littered with firework debris which was a shame. We also had a neighbour who lost his dog a few times and always seemed to be when we were putting the kids to bed. But overall it was still a pretty peaceful place to be. We very much enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider returning in the future!"

  • Excellent stay for 3 Generations at Michael's Hege Ko Olina Beach Villa!

"We wish to express how much our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons really enjoyed staying at Michael Hege's wonderful, clean, and spacious 2 bedroom suite (OT 801) looking out to a magnificent ocean view. Our 9 night stay will always be remembered with the fun in the pools and lagoons plus many other fantastic memories. It was kind of Michael, Vicky and their son to greet us with a warm welcome which also included valuable information suggesting places to go snorkelling, shopping and eating. Sincere thanks to them for providing our visit from beginning to end with much thoughtfulness. Family from Vancouver, B.C., Canada"

  • Beach Lovers resort!

"Our family had the best vacation ever. We loved Coconut Plantation condos close to beach but very peaceful within the gates. Ko Olina is a beautiful quiet town. If you love the beach this is the place. We were worried about no umbrellas but with sun screen and sitting under trees at lagoon 2 no problem I can"t wait to book next year, We have been to most all the islands many times but this is our new favorite location"
