  • Unforgettable is an understatement!

"My wife and I spent an unforgettable 10 days at Jeff and Shelby's Ko Olina home in September. The year prior, we vacationed next door at the Marriott Beach Club. We have a new favorite! The 11th floor penthouse is beautiful beyond description. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very personable Louie. He helped us with our luggage, and groceries, from the convenient parking spot in the garage very near the private elevator. After the quick 11 floor climb, he opened the door and WOW! Pictures do not do the home justice. It's more magnificent. Aside from the home boasting beautiful views out the front and rear lanais, and being amazingly well appointed, the grounds of Ko Olina Beach Villas are spectacular. The two beautiful pools and the lagoon will satisfy the most discerning of water lovers. Derrick and Marcy at the beachside tiki bar really know their "aloha hospitality". Jeff and Shelby have a gem they are willing to share. Our recommendation is, don't hesitate. We are grateful, and we will return."

  • Right on the Water!

"We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. Could not be any closer to the water and the sunsets were absolutely incredible. Home was very spacious with water views from the entire main living area. Was a little warm with no AC, but plenty of fans to keep the air moving. Property was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation - Thanks!"

  • Lovely family home with all the creature comforts

"We had a lovely time in the Villa. A full quality kitchen, comfy clean beds. The owners were helpful and answered all our questions. Everything we needed was there and the pool area was lovely for the kids.Had a gorgeous time. Clean, tidy and easy to relax in. This is not a complaint but my only advice is please make sure you have a hire car organised, we didn't and the beach was 25mins walk away and UBER don't come to Ko Olina for any grocery shopping you need - ( unless you pay for the double price service.) This is just FYI as we prefer public transport and it was quite tricky to get around without a car. Thank you Daniel for a peaceful home for our family holiday. I would highly recommend this as a more relaxed pace than the busy Waikiki and Honolulu region, it also has the best weather. The local restaurants and Monkey Pod were fantastic, great food and service. The beaches are just perfect, clean and quiet lagoons."

  • Great Time in a Great House!

"We stayed here with friends before, during and after our wedding on Oahu. The house was very nice, homey, roomy, well equipped with everything you need for the beach including towels, and a well stocked kitchen with everything to make whatever meal you'd like (minus the food of course, which was easily purchased at local grocery stores, or Costco nearby). Since it was Mid-June, it was very hot in the house except for the 2 bedrooms which have a/c, however even with the trade winds, the rest of the house was very very hot especially during mid day to evenings. There are ceiling fans in main room, kitchen and bedrooms, but there really needs to be another a/c in the living area since the other 2 are upstairs in bedrooms and cannot cool the entire house even with the portable fans. Overall, we had a fantastic time here, and I would recommend new curtains for the sliding back door, and rent during other times of the year that aren't quite so hot. As other reviews said, the neighborhood does look sketchy, however, it is just local working class people, and older retired locals. We were never worried about things being stolen or taken from the house while we were away. We were away a good majority of each day, and the location is great if you want some place quiet, easy shopping and parking for free! We hung out a lot in the backyard, had a cookout using the grill for hamburgers and hot dogs, it was perfect! I would give this house 5 stars, but with the massive heat inside the house, I just couldn't. However, everything else was perfect, great WiFi, DVD player, TV's were large and worked great, and the roomy kitchen was awesome! Beds were extremely comfortable which is a huge plus! (Safe in master bedroom closet isn't usable, however we felt very safe here without using it.) You should probably get beach shoes for walking on the beach as the sand is very course and does wear your soles of your feet down quickly. We gathered Sea Glass and some tiny shells on the beach each day to make some crafty items to remember our wonderful stay here! The lady who manages the house for Rick is amazing, she would come over and help with anything immediately and always very friendly. Neighbors to the right were very friendly as well! I have a friend who I recommended the house to and she's bringing her family in December! I hope she has half of the fun we had at this very special house! It truly was a wonderful experience! Thank you Rick for such a wonderful property! Mahalo!"
