  • Very nice property, well equipped and maintained; a home away from home!

"My wife and I stayed in this unit for ten days during September of 2016 and found it to be a very comfortable and pleasant experience. We particularly enjoyed the security of the Four Paddle complex - having a Security Guard around the clock, a gated entry, and an electronic fob required for entry... all a plus. Also, having a free dedicated parking spot in the parking garage was very nice. Margo was a pleasure to work with, having fresh-cut flowers and a bowl full of fresh fruit in the unit upon our arrival. Additionally, she gave us a number of ideas for things-to-see and do while on Oahu (one being the Tantalus Overlook, a must-see). The Four Paddle Condominium sits a couple of blocks over from the hustle and bustle of Kalakaua Avenue, but the walk is a short one. The only downside that I could find is that there is not a view of Waikiki Beach, or of Diamond Head, but that's a small concession to pay given the bang-for-your-buck that you get here! We would certainly place this unit at the top of our list for our next stay in Honolulu."

  • Awesome and Good Location

"1st time to Hawaii. Stayed here 9 nights. Met Terri once and spoke to Mike twice. Both seem like really nice folks. Mike seems like he would have some good stories to tell. We hardly spent any time here during the day because we planned things to do every day. Even the days we didn't have something pre-planned we just got in the car and randomly went places and then came back in the evening, showered, and then went to bed. However this location would also be a perfect place to relax away the day. Mike/Terri did come in and open the windows in the afternoon and change linens/towels while we were gone. They provided some starter foods like cereal, juice, bread and other things which was very nice because we ate mostly cereal for breakfast in preparation for eating all kinds of other foods for lunch & dinner. 1st thing you notice is the view to Pearl Harbor and surrounding area is quite picturesque. They have a beautifully landscaped yard and a nice pool which we did use once. Accommodations were excellent and the provided food stuffs lasted us all week as we mainly ate breakfast in the room and then ate out the rest of the time. The neighborhood is very quiet and the night view is pretty good of the harbor. This place is about as centrally located as you can get in my opinion, but you will need to have your own transportation. Honolulu is close by, North Shore isn't too far and the scenic drive on H3 to the east side of the island is close by as well. Perfect place to stay if your plan is to go all over the island. Aiea also has a lot of good places to eat nearby. Ramen, Poke, Korean, Japanese, Seafood, etc.. all within a couple of miles. Overall, you can't really beat the price & location in my opinion. If you want to be right on the beach then by all means blow your money that way but if being on the beach is not a requirement I would stay here. Well, for couples mostly. There's also a futon that would sleep another but I feel that this is a place for couples. We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend Rainbow Inn! We hope to return soon for another stay."

  • More than we expected.

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The space was very clean and new. We will keep this in our plans for future stays on the island when we come over to visit family. We found everything as advertised. Anna and her husband were very accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed the shops and places to eat in Haleiwa and it wasn't far to get to anywhere on the island. I would recommend a picture of the outside of the facility as this was the only thing lacking in the description and we were a little concerned at first. The outside of the home is beautiful and the yard well kept."

  • Mahalo for this gem!

"We just returned last week from staying at this rental, and it was everything I could have wanted. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city and Waikiki, you have what essentially is a private beach and George makes sure to have amenities included in the property to help you enjoy your stay, such as beach chairs and towels and snorkelling equipment. Even little things such as soap and paper products are there when you arrive. The place was wonderfully clean and we had no problems. The view is outstanding and I would recommend watching the sunrise every morning like we did. It is very peaceful getting to fall asleep each night to the sound of the surf. There is a reef on this area of the island that keeps the bigger waves at bay and makes it a wonderful spot for swimming, snorkelling, and even relaxing. Close to North Shore and delicious food trucks. We decided only a few days into our stay that (when!) we come to Hawaii again, we are going to stay in this exact place. Free parking and a strong internet connection are also nice amenities. We couldn't get the TV to turn on, but didn't miss it at all. Mahalo George for sharing your property with us and making my dreams of paradise come true!"
