  • The Hale was everything in the pictures and more ,Jennifer was a great host. We will be back again.

"Jennifer was a great host, from the extra towels to the bowl of fruit she was a great host. She gave us some great ideas we definitely went Holo Holo around the island. We took in lulumahu Falls, a bit muddy but worth it. Just below the Pali. We also went to the South Point a nice 4.5 mile hike. Did I mention the view waking up everyday to that was amazing. I can't wait till next year we will definitely be back to that spot. Jennifer are you have a gem in that spot can't wait to keep in touch with you. Mahalo for all you do. • Right on the Water!

"We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. Could not be any closer to the water and the sunsets were absolutely incredible. Home was very spacious with water views from the entire main living area. Was a little warm with no AC, but plenty of fans to keep the air moving. Property was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation - Thanks!"

  • Almost Heaven, West Makaha

"I stayed at this rental for 39 days. During that time my wife and daughters were visiting me on and off. All 6 of us (not at the same time) have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. The condo is a gated resort. Exactly as Gene advertised, as is his condo. Pool was never crowded, nor were the grills. The flora is photo worthy and well maintained. Bougainvillea, ti plants, red ginger, plumeria, and bird of paradise are everywhere. Of course I can't forget to mention the peacocks. Each night at sunset we headed to the beach to watch it set, and take a lot of photos. With the beach nearby and Mt Ka'ala in your face it is what dreams are made of. This is not the part of the island where Jurassic Park was filmed but it certainly will remind you of that. Makaha Valley Towers was a very long commute for me to drive everyday but I loved it. I've stayed in Waikiki before and the crowds of tourists are not for me. Makaha is country, and the true Hawaii. Hiking to Kaena point is a must for anyone who can do the level hike. The highly endangered Monk Seal thrives there. Each trip to the point we saw one or two. Another memory noe of us will forget."

  • Dawn and Jim from Long Island

"What an amazing home. I felt so special spending the time with my family in this special home. Everything was provided and I can't say enough about staying where the locals live. I loved being away from all the touristy crowds. This was truly a relaxing vacation. Not far from everything but far enough to feel you were alone. Loved the turtles visiting daily and the sound...I still miss the sound. That house was simply the best...thank you again...."
