  • Perfect place and location!

"My husband and I and another couple stayed here over Labor Day weekend and it was perfect for two couples with the two bedrooms and bathrooms. It was comfortable, immaculate and had everything we needed! We enjoyed being able to walk all over Sandpoint. We walked to the city beach, restaurants, across the bridge, and other walking trails from here. The owner was great to work with. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Spacious, Comfortable Home With Plenty of Amenities!

"Our stay at the Bruce's home was quite comfortable. The upstairs unit has one bedroom with 3 beds and a separate bedroom with two beds. There were pillows and blankets to spare! The owner has thought of everything. Need a pen? A permanent marker? Notepad? Laundry detergent to use the washer and dryer in the bathroom? Electric griddle? Books to read during your stay? Board games? All present. The house is dated but I really liked the spacious, retro kitchen. The large deck looks out over the river, and the opening between mountains frames a perfect summer sunset. The river is right across the street, where we saw the remains of monstrous fish that died after spawning, as well as some living buddies. The only parts I disliked about the house was my inability to figure out the gas fireplace and the steep driveway. As we limited our drive to town (a short trip in to Elk City) and there is no phone on the property, I didn't think it was worth the phone call to inquire. We enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay. All in all, I highly recommend to anyone wanting the amenities of home and the peace the Elk City area can provide."

  • Great Vacation for kayaking and biking

"The cabin was very cozy, it has everything you need for a great vacation, loved the patio. The access to the trail for biking/walking was perfect and the grassy beach was great we were able to leave our kayaks down there for the week. Harrison is a fun little town to walk around. Had a wonderful vacation."
