  • 25th Anniversary Stay

"My Wife and I stayed for 4 days. What a peaceful place. We felt like we were on our own island on Monday and Tuesday as the summer season had just ended. The early evenings were our favorite times to either hang out on the wrap around deck or go sit on the personal dock. The walk down to the cottage and to the dock was not to bad but coming back up can work you a little;-) The local Osprey paid us a visit twice and lots of deer walking around. Kayaking was very nice and we explored the cove and then all the way down to the Yacht club. Monday we were picked up at our personal dock by a fishing guide and went for a half day trip. My wife landed a 14lb Pike. We let that one go and kept the 5lb pike we caught for dinner. The drive down the rough dirt road and then the hike down the hill to the cottage make you feel like you just left the busy world and have found a secret hideaway. We drove to Harrison and another 7 miles and took the 3 north back to the 90. Beautiful sights to see. The floating walkway around the Coeur D'Alene resort was something we did twice. Leo was always available for any questions when I called and more than willing to serve if we needed anything. It was a blessed stay for us and we were reminded how nice it was as we traveled home back into the world. Our second flight had to make an emergency landing in Medford, OR as they thought there was a fire:-( 4 hour delay but we finally made it home to CA. We are looking at coming back with our 4 kids in summer of 2016."

  • Convenient location, clean and well stocked

"The house was very comfortable for our family (4 adults) and the owners very responsive to our questions. The location was convenient to all the places they listed. The beds were very comfortable too! The main reasons not to give it 5 stars was that the master bedroom downstairs was a bit musty smelling (though the bathroom downstairs had a great shower), the traffic in front busy during most of the days we were there (this was where the lovely porch was) and that we were asked to do some laundry before we left because there was another tenant coming in right after us. None of these were deal breakers and we did very much enjoy our stay."

  • Sweet house, Awesome location

"We stayed here in December with snow, can't wait to enjoy it in the summer. House is close to downtown and lake. Had 3 kids under 3 and they loved the house lots of room to maneuver and the yard and patio are nice. Will definitely be back. TVs, internet all worked perfectly for when you can't be outside. Kitchen was awesome."

  • Home Away from Home

"We loved our stay. It was perfectly located for downtown activities and in great proximity to restaurants and other shopping, including groceries. The house has old-house charm and every accommodation has been considered (towels, soaps, extra blankets, grill tools, etc.) The kitchen is small but clean, updated and well-stocked. The beds are comfortable, yard is spacious, neighborhood is quiet, porch is comfortable and charming. Owners are very easy to work with and they communicate very responsively and thoroughly so you know what to expect when you get there. We would definitely stay here again."
