  • Great family vacation

"We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this VRBO. There were 10 of us total- 4 adults and 6 kids. Kids ages ranged from 2-14. There main house is a nice size with all the bedrooms upstairs and the kitchen and living room on the main floor. There are beautiful views of the lake. The float house is very nice and in great condition. We hung out there a lot in the afternoon and early evening, and had fun swimming, eating appetizers and sipping drinks. The staircase/trail down to the float house is a bit of a haul, but did not deter any of us from going back and forth at any time. It is well lit with solar lights at night, but good to also bring a head lamp for extra light. The kitchens were well stocked in both the main house and float house. There are many water accessories available- floatation devices, life jackets, and a canoe. There is a gas BBQ and a charcoal grill at the main house and a charcoal grill at the float house. Overall, we had everything that we needed. It was a great spot for families, and was very comfortable. The hot tub and air hockey table were a total bonus, and provided many hours of enjoyment. Teresa was very responsive through out the process of renting and contracts. She was quick to answer questions, and when we had a issue with the hot tub that we couldn't fix, she came out with someone and fixed it while we were boating. We are definitely coming back next summer."

  • Very pleasant stay

"The condo was large and worked well for the three of us sisters. Compared to others I have rented, the supply of dishes and cooking utensils was much better. It was quite easy to find what we needed, but we never found a cutting board. We used folded up paper towel to keep from marring the countertops when we sliced vegetables or bread. I especially liked the shower in the king bed room. The water was soft so my hair was shining, and the large shower head was enjoyable. We enjoyed the size of the double vanity in there. For three women, all of whom wish to have their own bed, we could have wished that the king bed could be two twins that would be able to be separated. However, one of us slept on the pull-out sofa in the living room, which gave us the third bed. Overall, the unit was restful. Small children above our unit created lots of footfalls over us, and that was not restful, but the noise seemed to stop before or about 10:00 p.m. A successful, pleasant stay."

  • Beautiful

"First off...Judy was extremely accommodating after my wife and I had some arrival issues. The location of the property is absolutely stunning. Amazing views of the sunsets and sunrises on the water and the mountains through the floor to ceiling picture windows. The house itself is terrific. Be aware that you will be climbing stairs in and out of the house and that simply can't be avoided. The internal stairway is a tight spiral staircase. It was scary at first...but after a few up and downs we figured it out and it wasn't an issue. We looked at the stairs as our daily workout! That justified eating way more than we should have at all the restaurants that Judy recommended in her welcome folder. The house has plenty of comfortable sleeping quarters and places to meet and mingle. With just the two of us the house felt very large. We only used the bottom floor. Judy included a lot of nice amenities such as soap and shampoo. All in all it was a marvelous experience. Thanks so much Judy."

  • A Well Stocked Home in an Outstanding Location

"We were a party of 4 so we certainly did not need the space this 5 bedroom home provided but we loved having it. This home is so well stocked with serving dishes that one could host a large (20-30 attendees) reception there. It was immaculately clean and had lots of areas where one could go off and read or watch TV. Its location was great as it is only a short walk down the Tubbs Hill trail from location 24 and you are in town. In addition, we were regularly entertained by a flock of wild turkeys who seemed to treat that area as their home base. We also had a deer stop by one afternoon. You might want to bring house slippers as the owner has a sign on the front door saying "no shoes to be worn in the house" . While this house rule might upset some renters it did not bother us but it probably should be spelled out in the description."
