  • Clean, Comfy, and Convenient!!

"We recently stayed at the Hobbit House for 6 nights. The location is unbeatable. As some have noted, it is along a busier street, but while in the house you barely hear any traffic. It is within walking distance to so many great restaurants, bars, and local attractions. The accommodations in the house are quaint, but perfect for a vacation stay. Comfortable beds and furniture. Very new washer and dryer and other appliances. Excellent hot water supply and water pressure. House stayed cool easily even in the hottest days of summer. Also, the bikes in the garage are available for use and make for a great afternoon adventure along the lake. Christopher is very polite and responsive to requests. We had no issues, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hobbit House. Highly recommended."

  • Fantastic Rental!

"We have been renting homes on Hayden Lake and Lake CDA for years, this was by far the best home we've stayed in. The home is meticulously maintained and is much larger than the pictures show. We had two families sharing the home and local friends visiting and had plenty of room. The deck is incredible, it is very large and has wonderful views. Parking was ample and we even had room to set up badminton. The owners thought about all the details! From the pre-prepared fire pit, to the life jackets and kayaks/canoe to the stocked pantry and kitchen we weren't lacking for anything. We had questions throughout our stay and the owners were extremely responsive and helpful. They did every thing within their power to ensure that we had a wonderful experience! Hayden Lake is a special lake, much quieter than Lake Coeur d'Alene, great for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating and enjoying the great outdoors. This home is perfect to take it all in!"

  • Five Stars all the way

"With just one exception, it was excellent. You get more than a five star rating in getting my left behind computer to me in one day. Your staff was terrific, Tate assured me that this was not a problem and sure enough I received it the next day. Her confidence was very reassuring and very much appreciated. It would have been very helpful to have had a broom to sweep the floors. There may have been one, but we did not find it. The extra blankets provided were much appreciated, our kids had been cold with the one provided. We would come back in a minute."

  • Solid Little House in a Nice Neighborhood

"Well stocked, very clean little old house in the Garden District. Walking distance to Downtown, Capone's and Pilgrims Market. Dish TV in the living room and both bedrooms. Good size fenced in back yard."
