  • Great house for family getaway

"We spent 5 days at this home for Christmas. There were 8 of us. This is a great home for a family. We felt as if we were in the mountains even though Safeway was about 5 minutes away. We saw deer and wild turkeys. We did not venture out to explore due to the weather and just wanting a place to relax. This was the perfect set up for that. Lisa had it decorated beautifully for Christmas and it was almost as if we were at home which is what I was looking for. In better weather there is plenty to do. I wouldn't mind coming back when the snow is gone to explore some of the nearby trails. You won't go wrong renting from Lisa!"

  • Perfect for large family.

"We came to Couer d'Aline for a reunion of my husband's family. Since our immediate family doesn't get to spend a lot of time together, I wanted a place that would house the 10 of us (including 3 small children) under one roof. I also wanted to be walking distance to the lake and at least one park. It's like we won the lottery. It also had a large, fenced yard which worked very well for the larger family get-togethers-an additional 30 or so people for dinners and games. This was so much better than going to a commercial venue: we were able to cook in the spacious kitchen (which had plenty of utensils and pots and pans, etc.) and seat everyone around the several tables on the deck and patio. And the kids had plenty of room to run around. There is a small beach a couple of blocks away and Mary kindly provided beach chairs, towels and floats. Downtown and McEuen park are within a mile. Trails on Tubb's hill are also only a couple of blocks away. Mary made sure that we had everything we needed: a pac 'n play for the 2-year old, detergent for the washer, shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms, snacks and drinks available when we arrived. She also very graciously allowed us 2 extra hours to check out. In summary, I would say that the property more than met our expectations and needs. I would definitely recommend this for a large group."

  • Perfect condo, perfect location!

"We stayed at this condo for a week while on a house hunting trip in CDA and it was perfect for everything we needed and in the perfect location. We could walk to shopping, restaurants, theaters, coffee, etc... Add in the beauty of being right on the water and it had everything! Condo is immaculate and is furnished beautifully, in clean, quiet, safe building. Frank and Barb were wonderful to work with and made the process SO easy. We will definitely stay again!"

  • Beautiful House, great location, fantastic stay

"If you are going to Coeur d'Alene and are looking for a house that is close to the parks and the lake, blocks from the main Sherman strip, this place is the best. We stayed for the Ironman on 8/21 and the house was perfect. Walking distance to the race village and to so many restaurants and shops. McCuen Park is right next door, several different places to access the lake. The property is new and beautiful. Everything is top notch. We had 3 families and there was plenty of room for us. The back yard has a great table to hang out and relax and parking is available in the garage or on the street. The welcome gifts were wonderful, I am now a fan of huckleberry jam. Yum. Thanks again for everything. Such a great memory."
