  • Great 50th Wedding Annivesary

"We rented this house for 6 days over the 4th of July weekend to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had three generations with a variety of interests helping us celebrate and we were concerned about being "stranded" too far from town. We thought the Ash House was perfect. It was a block from the lake and an easy walk to downtown Coeur d'Alene. What a great decision! We swam and played at Sanders Beach a block away. We rode our bikes almost daily along the Idaho Centennial Trail. We hiked Tubbs Hill and walked or rode our bikes downtown daily for lattes or to go to the park or shopping. We went to the 4th of July parade, the concerts in the park, and the 4th of July fireworks all with out getting in our car. And of course, we walked into town to get the famous Hudson's hamburgers. The Ash House was perfect...very nicely appointed with beautifully decorated spaces, an amazingly stocked kitchen, plenty of beach toys and accessories and the screened porch which was so relaxing. Everything about the house met our needs to a "T". The grandkids also want to thank you for sending over the neighborhood cat to say hello. Very friendly. Thanks Phil and Jan for sharing your home. We recommend it highly!"

  • Golf Trip

"As a group of eight senior men (all school friends) who go on a one week annual golf trip, we are always looking for the perfect house. Our requirements are simple, eight separate beds, ample bath/shower facilities and a larger fully stocked kitchen with plenty of space to prepare meals. This rental fills all those and many other needs. This listed property is well represented in the listing but I don't think that Bill the owner has shown potential renters what a beautiful, private back yard he has. The large fences make the back yard very secluded which is important for our after round socializing. There is plenty of grassy space to play other outside games. The owner was very accommodating. We had a slight problem inside the house that was quickly remedied by making himself available to us. Bill quickly called his local handyman and in no time the problem was corrected. We will be back again in 2016 and have asked the owner to pencil in the dates. This is a perfect place for a golf group both men, women or both. • Le Condo is a 5 Star condo

"First impressions are always important and Le Condo has the WOW factory from the time you drive into the underground parking and open the door to the condo. The best equipped unit we have every stayed in. We travel three to four months out of the year and this stay was awesome. You are located in the heart of Couer D'Alene and everything is readily available. The new Anthony's restaurant open while we were there and it has a great reputation in the Northwest for great seafood. It's also walking distant from the condo. Downtown has many eateries and the sidewalk cafes are really nice without the bugs of the South. Hope to return in the next year."

  • Lovely host, great place

"The location of this little basement apartment is amazing--across the street from the huge lakefront park, a half block to the water. Yet it is quiet, with sufficient parking and great amenities. Access is through the host's dining room but she is quite discreet and makes it as private as possible. Karen went out of her way to make it feel like a special visit--she clearly loves her town and we do too. It was a lovely retreat and the only downside was not being able to spend more time there."
