  • Perfect Stay

"Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We were in town for our family Thanksgiving gathering. Your home provided us with a great place to spend time together. Whether it was enjoying coffee in the kitchen or playing cards/chess in living room. . . . . our family had a fabulous time. We spotted bald eagles while enjoying the lake view from kitchen, wild turkeys gathering on the neighbors lawn one afternoon and deer meandering slowly down the front street. These sightings were appreciated by all! Your well appointed home and kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, including our holiday meal, all the while relaxing as a family in a beautiful location. I will also mention the beds, linens and pillows were very comfortable. This house had everything we needed and more for grandparents, young adults and grand kids. The owners and property manager were great to work with and answered all our questions. We hope to visit again!"

  • Great location near downtown with all the comforts of home

"My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights at the property and had a great time in CDA. The condo was close to everything we needed - restaurants, the beach, etc. There is a bike rental shop across the street that we took advantage of which was very convenient as well. The condo was clean and there was more than enough room for two people. I will say that the shower was a bit odd - the door didn't cover the entire length of the tub (no curtain) so water would splash out onto the floor - we put towels down to keep the floor dry. It also took us awhile to figure out how to change the water stream from the shower head. Other than that minor detail everything was great and I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay in Couer d'Alene!"

  • Perfect for large family.

"We came to Couer d'Aline for a reunion of my husband's family. Since our immediate family doesn't get to spend a lot of time together, I wanted a place that would house the 10 of us (including 3 small children) under one roof. I also wanted to be walking distance to the lake and at least one park. It's like we won the lottery. It also had a large, fenced yard which worked very well for the larger family get-togethers-an additional 30 or so people for dinners and games. This was so much better than going to a commercial venue: we were able to cook in the spacious kitchen (which had plenty of utensils and pots and pans, etc.) and seat everyone around the several tables on the deck and patio. And the kids had plenty of room to run around. There is a small beach a couple of blocks away and Mary kindly provided beach chairs, towels and floats. Downtown and McEuen park are within a mile. Trails on Tubb's hill are also only a couple of blocks away. Mary made sure that we had everything we needed: a pac 'n play for the 2-year old, detergent for the washer, shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms, snacks and drinks available when we arrived. She also very graciously allowed us 2 extra hours to check out. In summary, I would say that the property more than met our expectations and needs. I would definitely recommend this for a large group."

  • Comfortable, convienent and Clean

"The homeowners were very welcoming and accommodating. They allowed us to store our kayaks and bike in garage below apartment. It was convenient as you just used a code to open door to apartment and garage. It was quiet and secluded but still close enough to town. Apartment is well appointed with modern finishes, cute decor and a comfy bed. It was nice to have access just across the road to their private dock. Also the centennial bike trail is right there too so it's convenient to walk out the door and go for a bike ride or walk right along the lake. Beautiful view through mature trees on property that provide nice shade. Only thing that could have been better was the weather, but that is out of everyone's control."
