  • Country Charm

"This charming log cabin is just right for one or two. It is a nice private space a short distance from the main house and has a nice view of the neighboring pasture. The owners are very congenial and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and warm. The highlight of our stay was waking up to an invitation to see a brand new clutch of baby chicks and newborn triplet lambs (born during the night we were there). I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates the quiet rural life."

  • Great Place for a Church Retreat!

"We just completed our 2nd Winter Youth Retreat for church here. Tried it out last year and decided to come back this year! It is a wonderful place and the additional space improvements made to the property since last year were awesome! The beds in each room are very comfortable with nice bedding and many different configurations - bunks, doubles, queens, king etc. We had 27 high school & jr. high youth and 5 adults and had plenty of space. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and has 2 stoves/ovens, a microwave and dishwasher as well as 2 sinks so makes it easy to cook for a crowd! The owners are very helpful and friendly. We had an amazing trip and the kids had a wonderful time bonding. Thanks for all that you have done to the place to make it such a wonderful venue for our annual retreat!"

  • Great Getaway

"We were so pleased with this wonderful getaway from Boise. The house is right by the river and the waterfowl are everywhere on the river and fun to watch. Having the deck and canoe to use is a plus, and one could fish right off of the deck. The house is very clean and comfortable. It is well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom. We found the beds very comfortable and offered good support. The town of Hagerman is 5 minutes away and offers a grocery store and several good restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised when we drove up Bell Rapids Road right by our house to the Oregon Trail Visitors' sites. Very informative and historical and so close to the River Cabin. Driving on down US 30 you will see the Thousand Springs coming out of the cliffs above the Snake River. We did not do the hot springs but the locals say they are clean and fun. All in all we loved getting away from the city and having a quiet retreat. This is so easy and we will be sure to return."
