  • Relaxing and quiet

"We (2 adults, 3 teenagers, 1 dog) had a wonderful week at the Hayden Cabin. The layout of the house is a little quirky, but it is a great spot on Hayden Lake. We really enjoyed the short stairway to the dock. The previous year we rented a house on other side of Hayden Lake and the route to the lake was very looong and steep. We enjoyed the quiet little cove this year, instead of being on the middle of the lake. We appreciated the fenced area for our dog. The house is very well stocked with all essentials. Plenty of kitchen supplies and lots of towels in every bathroom. We used the bar-b-que out on the deck and it was nice to have a place to cook instead of eating out all the time. The kids and dog loved the dock. We rented jet skis and they had plenty of time on the lake. We found the trail to the county park just up the road and had fun taking the dog on her walks. Plenty of deer, squirrels, rabbits, and wild turkey to watch. Also loved watching and listening to the Osprey that have a nest up in the tree in the neighbor's yard. We had fun going to CDA to the wooden boat show at the Resort and to the North Idaho State Fair. There's always something to do in the area. Next year we'll try the zip-lines in Wallace, Idaho. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing time. The owner Tim is very easy to work with and made sure our stay was comfortable and all our needs were met. He quickly responded to our questions."

  • Excellent view, very relaxing

"Our stay at Leo's lakeside home was excellent. It was very spacious, well stocked and comfortable. Leo was very accommodating and helpful. He strove to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The little space heater upstairs had a malfunctioning light, so I called him to inquire if the heater still worked. He offered to drive out with another heater, but it wasn't necessary because the heater did warm up after a bit. We rented this home with two other families and the kids really enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the fire. It was very convenient to have all the firewood there and ready to go. He even had some newspapers for starting the fire! During our brief stay we spent a fair amount of time on the deck with the amazing view, just a small reprieve from monotonous workweeks. The only minor drawback was a the entry staircase; it was a little long for hauling kids & icechests. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet & relaxing view of the lake. I just wish we could have stayed longer, it'd be excellent for an entire week."

  • Great Location!

"This house is in the perfect location for anyone with a young family. It is right across the street from McEuen Park which has an amazing splash park, basketball court, tennis court and enclosed dog park. The home is a few minutes walk from Tubbs Hill and the beach. Inside the house is clean and well stocked. We had four adults and two children (7 & 3) and never felt cramped. Great place!"

  • Beautiful views and super cute place

"We were so happy with this place super cute inside and loved the decks. The views from the two front bedrooms upstairs were incredible. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The paddle boat was a huge hit with everyone:) We all loved the dock, had a blast swimming, jumping off and fishing on it. The owner David was amazing very attentive to our needs. They had lemon Poppy seed muffins and a very nice welcoming note for us I would recommend this place to anyone. The steps were a bit of a challenge hiking up and down unloading things thank goodness we had 10 of us:) Thanks for an amazing vacation. The Fishels and Hansons"
