  • Comfort, amenities, perfect family condo

"Just wanted to join the rest of the reviews here. Great condo with all the details thought out. Nicely remodeled condo that provided the home base for our beautiful Sun Valley summer vacation. We have stayed here twice now over the last couple years and it's been great!"

  • Such a great experience

"My first time to Island Park/Yellowstone and staying at the Lost River Retreat was a perfect fit. This was a trip/family reunion, 8 adults and 7 children. Never did we feel like there wasn’t plenty of room. Kitchen space is great, beds are really nice and comfortable, common spaces are really big, the wrap around porch/grandchildren race track is large and has a great view from any point, bathrooms are large. The whole cabin is well equipped from kitchen needs, extra bedding, very nice towel’s, washer and dryer, hair dryer, TV’s , DVD/VHS & cable, foosball & hockey games, & outdoor grill. Garage is spacious and has two picnic tables for deck dinning. There is a fire pit and hot tub but we just didn’t get time to use them .. but I will say the hot tub looked well maintained and very nice. Our family loved the time we spent here .. the view of the stars is amazing. Would recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in the area. Management and owners are great to work with … this was an overall really nice experience. Having to take your garbage to the dump each day was no big deal, easy, and the staff there even were pleasant. The only thing I would have liked to see/have had was dressers in each room. But not having them, living out of suitcases was not terrible, closets are huge. I can say without hesitation the thing I disliked most is that we couldn’t stay longer!"

  • Beautiful, comfortable, retreat

"We stayed here during a trip to Yellowstone for three nights. The property was well maintained, cozy and deceptively large! We were two families totaling ten people and the property was perfect for all of us to fit comfortably. The kids, six of them, took over the basement for most of our stay and the adults took full advantage of the backyard deck for stargazing and kicking back after a full day of sightseeing in Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. It was a wonderful property and I would not hesitate booking it if I visit the area again. No complaints about the property but one of the local bars is not friendly towards foreigners. I did rip them on Yelp. Keep that in mind if you are visiting the area. Crazy how when you leave California, you realize how intolerant the rest of the country can be at times. Other than our experience at that bar, the property was AWESOME and perfect for our little vacation. Claudia, the property manager was very attentive and quick to respond to my questions prior to arriving at the home. It was beautiful, clean, and had a well equipped kitchen too. It was a great bargain too seeing how many of the hotels closer to Yellowstone would have averaged out to almost the same amount we paid to book the home but we would have been crammed into a hotel room during our stay rather than enjoying the expansive backyard and living areas this house provided."

  • Good time in Mccall

"Very good condo, great location. We had an amazing stay, and the condo was clean and very well equipped in the kitchen and household products. Close to everything, and was very quiet. The manager communicated very well and in and out was easy as pie. I would stay here again, which is always good to know. Sofa bed is getting a little dated-my kids slept on it, but I wouldn't want to-pretty much my only critique. Linens were well stocked as well-which is always nice. And is was very CLEAN. Nice to have a garage to store a bike, kayak or any other stuff you have."
