  • MARVELOUS MOTHER'S DAY

"OMG...another great stay at our favorite cabin by the lake. This was our first time to visit during the Springtime. It as sooo green and the beautiful lilac bush greeted us at the stairs. As always, the cabin was clean, well-stocked and very welcoming. Being close enough to Spokane to accommodate varying work schedules allowed everyone to be a part of an amazing weekend. From rafting on the lake in the sun to smores under the stars, the long weekend could not have been more special. Once again, priceless memories were made and everyone took a bit of the peacefulness with them back to the city. This cabin is so quaint and offers all the comforts of home. The new washer & dryer were great and we hope to try out the bikes on our next stay. Thanks again to Jay for sharing his special get-away with others. We can't wait for our next visit!!"

  • Extra special Lake Home

"What a wonderful trip! Eight of us shared this spacious home for a week. A perfect get-away with lots to do. Walks with plenty of wildlife (deer and turkeys), swimming, kayaking and fishing. The deck was huge with a wonderful view of the lake and furnished so that all of us to sit out there at once. The lake house was very welcoming ...beautifully decorated and fully furnished including a full kitchen, extra towels, board games and movies. We highly recommend this rental !"

  • Cozy Getaway

"My husband and I, along with our three grown children chose Hayden Lake as a convenient spot to meet for Labor Day weekend. Bill was upfront immediately and told me that the lake was the lowest it's been in years, but we did not have a boat, anyway. I appreciated his candor. This house indeed had everything that we needed. It is clean and comfortable. The view is fantastic! Be prepared for a curvy road from Coeur d'Alene, and make sure to bring all that you will need as you won't be able to run to the grocery store in a minute. But the solitude is wonderful if you want to kick back and relax. Of the many VRBO properties that we have rented over the years, this one was one of the best."

  • Cool Get-A-Way, Great for a Couple or Family

"As we live in the middle of the desert, near Las Vegas, our purpose for driving to Northern Idaho and a lake setting was to cool down. I also wanted to get a line wet and my wife wanted to do some reading and stitching. This house was perfect. Open floor plan, bright and airy with A/C and heat to meet any weather situation. The owner, Bill, is fantastic and will do whatever he can to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The water was low this year so I didn't get much fishing off of Bill's dock but a half mile away is a public boat launch which also has a picnic area, protected swimming area and large dock from which people fish all the time. I was able to catch bass, perch, bluegill, sunfish from the dock and saw others catch some catfish. Bill also provides a paddle boat and canoe which can be enjoyed by all on the lake or fished from if the wind isn't blowing too bad. The necessary life jackets are also provided. I had some breezy days so I stuck to the dock. The lake is small enough so that you can watch your kids in the canoe or paddle boat from the dock and really never loose site of them. Yet the lake is big enough that if you bring your own speed boat you can ski or jet ski to your hearts content as the lake isn't very busy. The whole family can also swim off of Bill's dock. The house is 3 story with all bedrooms being on the 3rd floor. There is a fantastic walk in shower with dual shower heads on the 3rd floor. The 1st and 2nd floor each have toilets with either a walk in shower or bath with shower. There is a den/family area with tv on the lower lever and the main floor (2nd floor) has plenty of room in the living room with tv, a sizable kitchen with everything you need and a dining area. Outside on the deck there is a large patio set and gas grill. In back on the same floor is the hot tub and outdoor shower with some seating. The deck wraps around the entire house and you do have a private rear entrance/exit to the hot tub. The TV stations are lacking, however, if there is something special you are interested in talk with Bill prior to your arrival and he will probably be able to arrange to accommodate your request. Within 4 miles there is a great Walmart and a Cabelas and a quick stop is within 2 miles. There are some fast food places within a few miles and Post Falls is just about 6 miles away and offers a variety of offerings. Embers Wood Fired Pizza is a 5 minute walk from the house, its fantastic. This is the best rental in the area."
