  • Great place. View of the lake but we came in the winter so everything was covered in snow.

"This was a great place. We stayed for Christmas. It snowed at least 18 inches which was a blast for the kids. The house doesn't have a garage and you park about 25 ft from the covered walkway so it was a little hard for grandma to make it to the car. But again we came in winter expecting snow. It's a beautiful location. It would be fun in the summer too. The house was nice. It has heaters for each room so we were never cold. The bathroom is heated too which is nice. The one thing that drove us crazy is the light switches have these weird dimmers that never work the same way twice. We had a great time. We will definitely stay here again. You have a great view but you aren't on the lake. You are a couple streets over. There is one grocery store that we found that is more of a convenience store and one restaurant which looks like a bar but has a restaurant too. There are no gas stations so fill up before you come to town."

  • Stunning view with all that you need for a great get away

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is spectacular, the beds very comfortable. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked for dishes, pans, etc, even the 9x13 inch pans that I needed to make a cake. Sandi stayed in touch with me by email before we left so that I would know how to get there and made sure we knew that they had just sharped the knives so that we didn't cut ourselves (much appreciated). We had a great time.."

  • Quiet, Comfortable Lodging on Rose Lake

"Watsons Rose Lake Lodge is the place to stay for a quiet retreat. The lodge is located above an old tavern and has been fully remodeled with all the amenities. It is tucked away just up the hill from the boat landing. And is within a 30 mile drive to Coeur D' Alene. After playing all day....kayaks, paddle boards, swimming, it was a pleasure to come back to the Lodge and enjoy the camaraderie of a campfire. The Lodge has comfortable queen size beds, a set of bunks for the kids, an adequate, stocked kitchen and dining area for us to sleep and feed the adults and children in our group. The washer and dryer was nice to clean up swim suits and towels. And with 90 degree day time temperatures, was nice to have air conditioning. One thing to note, is the Lodge is off the grid with no access to Internet. However, the lodge care takers, Joe and Yvonne, were wonderful in providing all the information we needed about the area. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."
